About Bad Boy Entertainment:
In 1993, Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, also known as Diddy, launched Bad Boy Records. Nobody could have
imagined the impact the label would have on pop culture. As a subsidiary of the larger Bad Boy
Entertainment, the label became best known for its signature sound of streetwise hip-hop soul and the
ghetto fabulousness that radiated like precious jewels from its very name. Bad Boy was designed for
those who aspired higher, but also wanted to party until the break of dawn. Puffy had seen life from
both sides of the class divide and, with his groove-heavy music, worked hard to merge the two. There is
no better visual embodiment of this merger than the groundbreaking videos that were in heavy rotation
on BET and MTV and now on RUclips.
The Bad Boy Entertainment channel is the official RUclips home of iconic music videos from Puff
Daddy, Craig Mack, Faith Evans, 112, Total, Mase, Yung Joc, Cassie, Danity Kane, and the rest of the Bad
Boy Family, and your destination for some of the biggest 90s and 00s hip-hop hits of all time like Craig
Mack’s “Flava In Your Ear (Remix)”, the Notorious B.I.G. tribute “I’ll Be Missing You” by Puff Daddy feat.
Faith Evans and 112, and Cassie - “Me & U”.

So true. 90's music was the best music ever.
I'm sad & mad at tha same time.,,☹️🤨 we ain't never gonna get this great damn era back! 😭😭😭😭 #90sbestera #81baby
80's was that shit too though!!!
So true this song made me cry Everytime they played it and I would just hide when it played and I never knew why? But it's such a classic
Lemme tell I tell anyone that truly got experience the 90s& Early 2000s
in it's entirety with full comprehension of the entire era that I'm pissed off at them lmaooo they got to experience the last era of pure talent and artistry culture. I was born in 1998 so I got the last sip of the orange juice in the container of BlackXllence at it's best
The chemistry between 112 & Mase was phenomenal, imagine a joint album 🔥.
A collab album could've been🔥🔥🔥
@@ayoubdeogratius6720 aww man it would have been a classic 💨💰
Factory settings fam!!!
That was the best of both worlds we needed!
between this song and Cheat On You, a joint project would have been an instant classic
Mase floated on this 🔥
3:00 Mase taking shots at Jay and The Roc. Murda Mase was no joke.
One of the most underrated tracks of all time!!!!!
For sure
Yes y’all never lied
25 plus years later, this is an underrated incredible record. Dope fresh vibes! You had to be a Highschool student to understand how cool this guy Mase was lol
Nah I knew in elementary school too!
Agree!! Mase was that dude!!
Facts! Dude had it back then. His flow, his style.
Mase's verse got a lot of rapper's in their feelings back then lol
Who wants to go back with me to the 90’s?!

This song brought tears to my eyes because it was my youth, and they sounded so beautiful.
Same here. I remember buying the CD like yesterday and playing on the way to school. Such a time to have been around for this magic that was R&B.
✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
nostalgia is a *MUTHAFUCKA* for real for real
10 years f4om now youll say this was your somewhay youth.. Eberyday.. Everyminute. Is to be lived youthfully
Yes, still love this song. Seems like yesterday I was seeing this video on tv all the time in the pre-youtube era of music video. Awesome song and videos. R&B and Hip hop at it's finest. #Ilovethe90s
I love that everybody in 112 could sang!
Me too, they were like another Boyz II Men
Crazy right don't get that with many groups
Lobe that they utilized all of their voices too
Listening to Slim now... sqirms too much but then again them days girls liked that soft stuff.
Rite
Mase was perfect for these R&B combo tracks in the 90s..
U realize that was a Jay Z diss?
Fabolous before Fabolous
We didn’t know it would never be the same😢 rip to the 90s
That gave us the chills 🥶😥
Because it’s true 🥺
But looking back now at 41,
They really put us to sleep during (which will only be) the greatest time of our existence,
Just knowing that crypto (Bitcoin) was a secret all the way in 1990...and Planned Parenthood (eugenics)...and all the other horrors that strike us were all part of an experiment 🧪 🔬
Now we are brought to tears nearly every time we play a 90’s Gem all the way through...
So many more details to list but whoever reads this from that era will know...
90s will forever be in our hearts and we especially won’t let music die ❤😊
Mase is goated
Mase doing what he did best... spitting a verse that has NOTHING to do with the concept of the song. hahaha gotta love the 90's
Sonam Kainth lol awesome
That's what I always think when I hear that biggie verse on total cant you see
This is a diss track for Jay-z's Volume One.
smh yall trying but this was a response to jayz ride or die from vol 2 "check your own videos you'll always be #2"

BadBoy was always on top of the R&B/pop Billboard charts in the mid to late 90s. Wish I could rewind back to these days.

@River Phoenix snoop dog and that happen a couple years before this song came out this was what 98 that snoop dog shit at the bet awards was 94-95

These songs will NEVER get old. Classics. I miss this music so much.
I just cant get enough of the 90s jams. They really had a meaning and the videos was fun and dope. Mase and 112 are big legends.
yea and when you learn mases verse was a dissertation to jayz and roc its even better

This song gives me the cold shivers. It made me discover who 112 was as a group and it takes me back to memory lane when you need no lyric book to memorise songs. Just put the song on repeat and that's it. Good old days.
mase kept a fresh Line up
Fun fact, mase’s verse was a diss to jay z. “Platinum that, platinum this, nobody got no platinum hits”. At the time Jigga was big on platinum jewellery and used to mention it a lot in his raps. However, unlike Mase, he never had no platinum hits at the time.
Its funny cus I dont like J but like him.....guess I'm jus notta hater lol
JAY-Z first verse on Ride or Die was he's reply. And to show how petty Jay was Bad Boy producer Stevie J. was on the intro of the song saying, "I'm rolling with Roc-A-Fella, man, 'Cause they got money, man, haha" genius.com/11424457

Shame right. That sadness is something else when you look at the black industry today
This came out in October 1998, this song sample of Luther Vandross- Don't You Know That (1981), Heavy D & The Boyz also sampled Luther's sample in their 1994 hit ' Got Me Waiting'.I like Mike in this video & song.

112's sophomore albam is underrated, the majority of the lp can be played without skipping. Will never forget this era of music
HIGH SCHOOL YEARS!!!!! I get misty eyed man, glad I lived in this era. Puff was great at taking the classics our parents loved and we grew up listening to, into something just for us. He was the GOAT in that way. 112 is such dopeness and everyone in the group could sing lead!
Real Shit

I'm in the UK and I'm 36. But this ain't really an age thing , it's a musical thing. Example even commercial tracks used to be better.
Yesterday I see the Destiny Child - Jumpin Jumpin video. Even that sounds outstanding compared to what we hear today.
I mean don't get me started on hip hop.
Drake? Rubbish. Listen to Pac -Hit Em Up. That's stronger than Drakes whole catalogue and it's 20 years old
+ChelseaFC _Buzz Drake not bad his topic is different , he didn't come from the hood. so he raps different. and your voice don't got to be hard to rap. that's why most male don't fuck wit him. he can rap but sing to much.

My god I love this group. When I was comin up in Harlem, these were the guys to be bumpin. They weren’t from New York but they were from Bad Boy who were New York. Niggas was dancin to this as well as singing to this if they wanted to sing or be a group. Damn shame Bad Boy gave up on them after Part III. They were still on fire then. These mark some of the best memories of my life. The first 3 albums were my shit! The 2 after were Aiite had some hitters but not like the first 3 albums though. Room 112 was the album that got me into expressing my feelings towards the girls in my hood when I’d be simpin lol. Memories. Thank you 112 and thank you Puff.
I played that part III out in high school I went to school everyday with the cd and my portable cd player plus plenty of batteries.
I loved any r&b group that had style especially the NY ones although 112 was from ATL..
I haven't heard this a long time. 112 was the sexiest group ever!!!
Yep up there with Boyz 2 Men, New Edition, H-Town, Shia, Az Yet
MUSIC THAT NEVER FADES!!!!!
The last group where all the members could sing and do solo parts. None of them sound alike either.
Ma$e throwin lil jabs at Hov on his verse...
This will always be my favorite 112 song !!!!
Still loving this song in 2024 💃🏾
Mase was jabbing at Jay-Z in this song. He invented dissing cats over radio singles long before Drake. Mase is like father Abraham, he has many SONS in this rap game.
The part Jay-Z took really personal was with this line - 'All we hear is platinum that, platinum this, platinum whips, nobody got not platinum hits. But cats know real platinum I wrap around my wrist, I come to the Awards with Quadruple platinum Chicks"... JayZ just released Hard Knock Life single that went Platinum.. and he took it very personal and released Ride or Die [in Vol.2 Hard Knock Life]. The Jehovah Ma$e mentions is the Jesus piece necklace/chain he was putting on: "I got baguettes [diamonds] in my Jehovah", and not referring to the Jay-Hova, a moniker later coined by Jay-Z in 1999 after the release of Life & Times of S.Carter Volume III
This is not a diss track. “Baguettes in my Jehovah” just means “diamonds in my Jesus piece”.
@@nathanjohnson7982 The track isn't a diss But Murda's bars WERE jabs at son.

People in the 90's were color coordinated with their clothing.
I know right I miss that. When groups wore matching outfits
Cause we heard from the best Mr. COORDINATE himself RIP Johnny Weatherspoon
I’m still doing it now 🙈
I still wear color coordinated matching outfits to this day like I did in the 90's and especially 2000's. Idk why the young crowd doesn't do the same they look silly wearing 4 to 5 different color clothes and tight sagging women type of jeans that still sag off there ass.
Must have stopped with the dopes of the 2010s to today cause folks color coordinated in the 60s,70s,80s,90s, and 00s
Diddy made some bad ass videos. Damn near like movies.
That Jay Z diss was crazzzzzy from Mase!😂
I always thank New York City when it comes to Rap/Hip-Hop. B.I.G., Mase, Big Pun, Nas, Jay-Z, DMX, Mobb Deep, Capone N Noreaga, Mos Def, Wu-Tang Clan & it’s members, I mean I could go on & on. As much as I hate Sean Combs & his shady behavior, he was a great producer. Bad Boy was definitely the king from the mid 90s-late 90s. Records from other labels like Capital Punishment came out in 98 as well. NYC could not be touched!
Take me back to the 90’s!!! 😢🔥🔥🔥❤️
