Jung Hae In’s acting is honestly one of the most versatile I’ve ever seen in the industry I would have never expected him to act in a drama like this!
I am in awe of his acting in D.P. He is totally phenomenal and mesmerizing. I still don't get why he did not get that best actor award!

Same honestly 🥲 there wasn't a single character gone to waste. I was legit tearing up every time Suk Bong's scenes came out, it's heartbreaking to see a man get so broken to that point no return when it's not even his own fault T_T
As sad n depressed this drama theme is, it sends a clear & strong message, bullying is never ok , the pain inflicted on the victims will always be ingrained in their mind. The last episode hits me hard on being an "onlooker" n what have we do to help stop the bullying around us, it runs deep n I applaud the whole production team for sending an impactful message to us the viewers
It's been bothering me that so many commentaries say this is about bullying . Certainly that is part of the social commentary but we forget that compulasary military service is real in some countries , if that is a good or bad thing idk. But this is a social commentary on military service in general this is real not some made up senario to discuss bullying , while bullying is a theme in all institutional settings especially where there is a hierarchy it is part of the story line it's only a small fraction of the story overall themes but it's certainly not the biggest or even the most important part of the story.
It's an exploration of compulasary military service and all the baggage that brings with it good and bad.
It's upsetting that so many western people think this boils down to just bullying it's a much bigger social commentary.
The dark side of being in Military or any hierarchy system is being bullied and abused by the superior. It’s happened in most countries. The sad part is no one can do anything to stop it. It keep going on Gen to Gen.
Apparently this is changing in the Korean military , they now allow recruits to have their personal mobile phones and this alone has lessened the suicide / desertion rate by a considerable amount. Now if bullying takes place people can contact the senior officers via text and the bully will be reprimanded or punished as the case may be .
I think finding the balance between a strong military force and a fair military force might be a hard one because SKorea is right next to NKorea and they aren't playing games , living next door to a country that has that kind of military force is real
Heavy. Disheartening. Intense. Eye-Opening. Jung Hae In fits every role perfectly but him as a soldier has my heart.

This K-drama hit me on so many levels. I may not be in the military but the bullying got to me. I honestly understand why he did that. Sometimes I wish I could and not give a care in the world.It really saddens me that this is real. We shouldn't have to realate to something like this. Bullying needs to stop.
What broke me watching the ending was when he was lying on the ground calling for his mom
THIS IS SO GOOD AND CAPTURE THE SUMMARY OF THE WHOLE SERIES.
The SADDEST thing about this drama is
we know it is not gonna change maybe the level will be reduced in 'some' places .
But it is not gonna stop .

Whenever he said Private Ahn Jun ho I was like wow his name is so cool 😎 and the other guy was so funny 😆 I really enjoyed this it was a mix feeling drama of sadness, happiness and partnership

I'm thinking he got discharged ? Notice that during the drama they were counting the days until his discharge. I could be wrong but that's what I think. The other possibility is that he deserted ?
@@hoshitenminutes that is what a good show should do I think . Alot of kdramas are at least 4 episodes to long . You want to want more at the end , it's the difference between good and great
