Hello ... Thank you for this review ... Do you think that an Astell & Kern AK 70 dap is good enough to use with these iem's ?? Another question ... Do you think that these iem's are made for people who like rock, pop/rock and blues/rock music ?? Thank you for your answer. Cordially ... Éric.
Hello. 1. I didn't try them with AK70 unfortunately. 2. It's not a matter of genre, but more of your personal taste. If you like lots of lows with lush mids, Vegas will be great for you for any genre. If you don't - it won't. Personally to my taste, I prefer a bit more aggressive and sharp sound, as I'm more of hard rock/metal fan, so for me Lyra II is a better option. I've listened to some blues recordings I have (mostly most popular classic things from Clapton and so on) and I like this added warmth. But on some really rare recordings there were a bit "too much" lows in Vegas. So, I can't give you an exact answer besides "you should try them yourself before buying"
Have you had a chance to compare these to the Empire Bravados? If so, what are your reflections on clarity, resolution, separation, and fit? Many thanks.
Thanks for the video.. how's the fit compare to campfire orion, do they have different size? i saw from your video of orion that you have to adjust a bit of angle to fit in your ears.. hope both of them can fit to my small ear canal
well, they are pretty different sonically. it's also good model, but representation is quite different. but fit is definitely better (at least for my medium-sized ears)
damn youtube! missed your question. Orion is single balanced armature - neutral, ultra-resolving and analytical. New Primacy is warmer, with more weighty lows and more added emotions (not much anyway)
Stephen Prater yeah.. Lyra ii is my 2nd option. Considering as price wise as well. Thank you. And enjoy your gears. By the way have you try to audition the vega vs lyra?
well, bass is much more deeper and punchier on Vega, treble is also better in Vega. vocals are almost equal, probably Lyra II is a bit better, as linear signature suits vocal better
@@PortaFi I just picked up the Lyra II and am comparing mainly to Tin T2. I like that the Lyra II has stronger, punchier bass and fuller mids but found the highs to be a little too soft, polite, dull.. though they pretty much never got fatiguing. I just switched from silicone to foam tips though and like it alot more.. sounds like mid bass calmed down and it became more sub bass focused. The highs seem more open, layered, and textured.. perhaps I'm able to notice them more now that mid bass is reduced? They sound pretty great now but on some music I still want a little more high frequency airiness, shimmer, and texture. Do you feel that Vega achieve this in the higher freqency compared to Lyra II?

Well ... i will try to test these and maybe the lyra 2.
Thank you for your answer ... and continue making your reviews ... they are excellent.
Great review man! Thanks for doing it in English :)

unfortunately I didn't have Empire Bravados, sorry
Hi there, just wondering if you think Fiio BTR3 can drive these well enough for you?
no, it can't. not because of power, but because of Bluetooth compression. in LDAC mode it sounds ok, but Vega can do more

Vega/Lyra-II/Dorado are more comfortable due to more ergonomic shape. Edges of Orion/Andromeda/etc requires some usage to them
thanks . my budget is only fit for orion..you think oriveti new primacy a good choice instead?
well, they are pretty different sonically. it's also good model, but representation is quite different. but fit is definitely better (at least for my medium-sized ears)
..and i got small ear.lol.. but just for personal opinion what's your bet between the orion and new primacy?

Hello, can I drive these with a Sony WM1A walkman?
hello, I didn't try this combination myself, but I think they should be pretty OK with this DAP
Hi stephen, have you already got your vega? am also planning to drive this to my WM1A
ajoemar2009 No, I got the Lyra’s and Im more than happy with them! And half the price of the Vega’s. No BS, the Lyra’s are awesome.
Stephen Prater yeah.. Lyra ii is my 2nd option. Considering as price wise as well. Thank you. And enjoy your gears. By the way have you try to audition the vega vs lyra?
Dunu Falcon C much more behind in sound quailty ? or how it is compared side by side
yep, Vega is much better, but also they are totally different in representation
Hi, can you please compare these to the andromeda? Thanks!
they are pretty different in signature, Andromeda is more resolving, more spacious and a bit brighter
Porta.Fi appreciate it!
hi, comparison please with campfire lyra II? thanks
Lyra II is much more neutral and linear in representation. So, it's a completely subjective choice, what sound signature do you prefer :)
Porta_Fi which one has deeper /punchier bass? Good vocals and treble the better. Thank you

have you heard the isine20 can't decide between the two
unfortunately didn't heard yet
how would these fair on the cayin n6 ?
sorry, didn't try them with N6, but hypothetically I think they'll be a good pair, if you like such representation like in Vega
Great channel my friend👍
thank you
