Thank you so much for watching - we really appreciate it!! :) which did you prefer, this sunny lake Lugano or the snowy Swiss Alps we were in in the previous videos?! :)
I enjoyed all of your videos in Switzerland so far. It is probably good, though, that you went to Lugano AFTER freezing in the mountains. Spring weather always feels so good after enduring Winter. I was in Lugano in September five years ago and was really surprised that they had palm trees.
love it. thanks for taking me back to the spot of one of my most favorite vacations. The little hill-side towns that run around the lake are breathtaking. And you are right, Lugano is like a clean, well run Italy.. The water taxis that run along the lake are a great way to get around and to see some breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains.
@@NaickKim I live in Orlando, Florida USA but I lived in the Swiss Alps near Interlaken for 2 years. Lugano was a weekend "tropical" getaway for me when I got tired of snow
It was such a lovely video. Nice to see some normality appearing with people doing enjoyable things. 35 years since l was in Switzerland, but when we can travel, look out here we come. Travelling with you both through your videos, always great. Stay safe.
When we were in Lugano, we found that small shop owners only speak Italian language. My son works in Zurich and only speaks enough German to get by... so a little inconvenience. But, I agree with you guys, life is good in Lugano and the lake is wonderful. Lucky you.
One good thing about living in van is that you can call many places "our very own garden"! The lake, oops, I mean "your very own pond", is very very beautiful!
I visited Lugano with the company of my Swiss friend in 2005. A beautiful place and delicious pasta. Thank you for bringing me back all the good memories there.
@@NaickKim thats great! Depends on what u want to see..we have the most beautiful lake here - lake cauma or lots of beautiful villages like Lenzerheide, Flims, Davos or St. Moritz
Love seeing places I've visited through your eyes. Your videos make it seem like I'm there. Lugano is beautiful, but I love nearby Locarno on another lake. It has the same Italian vibe but is a bit more casual (Ascona is fun, too). If you go to Locarno, take a hike (or the funiculare) up to the monastery of the Madonna del Sasso. Beautiful buildings and spectacular views. Marcote is also highly recommended, though your van may have some issues with the mountain goat roads. If the travel bans are lifted this summer I plan to go up the Verzasca valley to see the bridge at Lavertezza and the stone buildings & waterfall at Sonogno. The waters of the Verzasca are crystal clear with a green-blue tint. The castles at Bellinzona are also nice--you can get an interesting bit of history at both of the lower two castles.
Thanks for all the tips. We did have a short stop in Morcote indeed. Beautiful village. We'll be heading to Verzasca too. Many people recommended it. The castles are unfortunately closed at the moment. We probably won't go to Locarno as you're not allowed to park you van there.
Sun, beautiful scenery, ice cream 😍😍 I can’t believe you were sledding on the snow-white mountain not long ago😁The church is so beautiful, thank you for making a wonderful video❤
Oh yes we really loved it. It's hard to find good spots, because at most places you are not allowed to stay overnight. You definitely have to get down here more! 👍👍
:You are very close to Milan,do you have any plans to go there?
Lugano is a nice place to visit, I've been there once, took a bike ride around the lake, went up to the Monte Brè by the cable car, would love to visit again when it's safe to travel again and have enough money saved up, haha

Chia seed puddings eh, I made my first one on Sunday and it's actually not bad. Trying to find health options as put on too much lockdown weight 🤔😫. The ice creams looked amazing, can't beat Italian Gelato. Please can you send the sunshine to me here in the UK.
You guys are so engaging and eloquent. Such a little home 24 hours a day has its effect. Your favorite video may be sledding with dogs, but the realization of the hope to see the Northern Lights which showed themselves in such multi-colored splendor was probably the star on the tree in your exciting venture up north in the middle of winter. May I bring up Yoga? I don't do it. Doubt I would. I suggest it as a model. Like the part of the move Karate Kid where the master had him painting the fence, up and down, up and down. Learning the rhythm of life but with exercise. So different from Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn and painting a fence. Like Huck Finn, you're on an adventure. (Let me say that, as a Biden contributor from early on, I'm dismayed that our Department of Education has decided to shake its head disapprovingly toward Dr. Seuss. Old man Trump or his kids love this kind of thing because it puts the obscene attack on the U.S. Capitol in the rearview mirror. People love the rearview mirror. I do. Don't you? We move on. In 20 years, unless they knew someone who died of Covid, many people will become nostalgic about Covid times. "It was so quiet." "I got to work from home." "We pulled together.") In these odd times, aside from spending my time and money at bars less often, except for tonight, I've learned again the value of exercise. You two walk a lot. Swim sometimes. So, at long last, my point: I would make three suggestions to you as if I knew you. Put your bed away every morning and put up the table. It delineates the day. Have a small bowl of oatmeal or equivalent for breakfast every day. It becomes fine and the coffee is the main romance. And buy some exercise bands and do 20 minutes a day with them. They are light and would work well in you confined space and give you structure. Or, to bring up what I said earlier, do some aerobic yoga. Does caravan active yoga exist? Make it so? T Before college I lost 80 pounds. After, I went up to almost 300. After issues, I went back down and back up to 260. A roller coaster. Pounds are cheap to me, like Mexican pesos. But I've learned a little in the process. Just as you desire routine in the morning. I do 30 toe-touches and some bands and try to walk two miles a day. I realize that the muscle exercise does something good. It cheers me up and I think it would do the same for you. Maybe not bands for you! But some sort of exercise in the van. Or outside it when you're in Ticino. (I almost said "beautiful Ticino" but realize that you realize everywhere is beautiful, which lies at the beauty of the churches that we visit which involved the community and makes me wonder where to look for importance. It might be a good niche for you to do van exercise that would attract people, if that's somethings you'd like. But good for you for you joyous voices! Forgive the diatribe. I'm far from a model. I love your distinct videos.
Oh nice! We really loved it there and spent a few nights there on and off. We're probably going to move to Graubunden soon and are checking out some other spots in Ticino.
