This is a Japanese version of a Scruff-a-Luv. Who are you? Is the name of the brand in Japan.
No, you should not put them in a dryer. It would damage the fur.
It is not advised to get a plush wet like this in most circumstances, as there is a risk of mold if not dried properly.
The winking Eevee is confirmed to be female on the product box.

As just about everyone else here has commented, this is one of the latest lines from the *'Scruff-a-Luvs' Toy Brand.* It originated in the premise that you'd find _a lost, mistreated and dishevelled Animal,_ and had to clean and care for it - with its Fur matted and unruly, it'd be difficult to even tell _what_ animal it was until you'd given it *a well-needed bath!*
The First Wave of *Scruff-a-Luvs* had the surprise of whether you had found a *Puppy* or a *Kitten,* and the Second added the rarer *Bunny* to the possibilities. The Bunny was so popular they decided to _focus a Wave solely around them,_ then brought back the others, adding different Gimmicks to it - having _other Species of Animals_ alongside the Dogs and Cats, having them come _with One or Two Babies,_ etc.
This is the First time I can remember this line _being Cross-Promoted_ with anything however - but Pokémon *would be* a good choice if they got *The Pokémon Company's* authorisation...

@@BJGvideos nope! they have different branding in Japan- you can tell they're by the same company because the Sanrio crossover (with "who are you?" branding like the video) is very similar to the English packaging

You shouldn't brush wet hair. The wet hair breaks easily. You dry & THEN y brush.

It’s literally like hatching an actual Eevee from an egg! It’s just through highly unconventional means. I don’t think we have anything quite like this in the USA, but gosh I would love to see it!
We have a similar toy here called Scruff-A-Luv! It has the same procedure: place balled-up stuffy in a bowl of water, watch it expand to stuffy status, then give it a good, long (and I mean LONG) drying.

No you should not put it in a tumble dryer, even on low, as it can burn/damage the fur. Hair dryer can be used at a distance as you can control it.
Putting it in the washing machine kind of defeats the object.

As someone who hobby restores over-loved plushies- use a wire pet hair brush. This makes old plushies look like new and I'm 99% sure would make your eevee's fur look poofy and nice!
My little sister has a puppy one of these, I def suggest using a wire fur brush. I use it for my fursuit and used it on that plush and boom it was fluffy

I had this kind of plush when I was little and I was obsessed with it. Though it wasn’t Pokémon themed it was still a fun toy. Mine was a cat.

These are exactly like scruff-a-loves I have a couple they are like the Evees but with more varieties this one is pretty cool though
This reminds me of those rags you could buy from those little coin vending machine things at arcades or whatever. You’d slot in 75cents or so and it would dispense a block (which was just bunched up rag) which when put in water revealed a rag with a character on it. I can seem to find any images of it on google but I remember using them all the time. Probably still have some lying around somewhere lol

These kinds of guys work better if you brush them while they're still wet! Hot water is also better. She's very cute!

They have a similar one in North America but with a bunny, cat, and dog. Also try putting it in the dryer!

The only way I would advise this going into the dryer is a low heat or air dry setting blended with other laundry to protect it.
Faux fur + heat does not mix so any drying method needs some caution put into it.

I may be a shiny hunter but a Pokémon that is always in my heart is eevee
Its actually kinda like the scruff a luvs toy that you put in water and it reveals a cat, bunny, or dog, but the animal depends on what box you got, and it comes with a brush, an adoption certificate, and usually a collar, but when I got my dog, she didn't have a collar and I named her Kira, I got my cat, and I named her Tigerlily, and she came with a collar, and the collar goes basically to both my pets now, but mostly my dog.
It's an interesting idea for a toy. Reminds me of those "dehydrated" washcloths you can get and then they unfurl when soaked it water.
It is also very funny to think about taking a "real" Pokemon that's sleeping/hiding and just dunking it in water until it wakes up and looks at you.
I may not be obsessed with Pokemon but Eevee is my favorite Pokemon, alongside Pikachu ❤ Such cutie pies!

You can out these in the dryer on very low to help dry them out and stop mold smell, even better if you have a delicates zipper bag

Clothing dryer on perm press or no heat/ fluff mode is excellent for stuffies

I think I remember something similar. They were like abandoned animals that you took in but you couldn't tell wat he were cuz like the eevee, they were in a ball with a glue coating. But the idea is that they are so dirty you cant even see their face. And out popped goodies as well to give you a hint to what the were. A bone for a dog, a fish for a cat, and a carrot or a bunny.
I see these everywhere in Australia, not specifically the eevee but the generic cute animal versions

These type of plushies are cool
Should have used a half and half mixture of white vinegar in the water it would dry it out faster, dissolve the netting faster well, and there would be no musty smell afterwards.

Ah, ive seen these around before, just never seen a pokemon one. Theyre based on the idea of finding a stray animal, and caring for it, bathing it, and brushing out its fur. The origbal brand i saw was just actual animals. Didnt know they did pokemon. Eevee is a good choice for this concept.
