I truly appreciate a video of a horse in good shape getting new shoes. There are so many videos of horses whose hooves are in terrible shape finally being groomed. It's so nice to see a video of someone doing their job well for a horse who is properly cared for 🐴❤️
It is so satisfying to watch a real craftsman at work!
This Video is good for anyone who wants to relax after a long day i love how these videos make me feel
As a young child my dad's friend did this as a side business. I used to watch him work for hours doing every horse in town
Where are you from?
@@Horus-89 a very small town in the Sierra Nevada's
The was amazing! I have never seen a horse get manicured and new shoes.
Straight up Horsey manicure. That horse is like
" That's how we do fancy like"
As a farrier myself I can say he did well, other than sanding the periople, which while looking good promotes excessive moisture loss and can cause damage if the owner doesn't moisturize the hooves
Never seen this done before, very professional!!
I love how calmly you handle them
Thank you so much for taking such great care of these beautiful horses
The patience of the horse amazes me keeping your foot up for that length of time, it must start acheing.
Good farriers stretch the leg and rest the horse as they work. The device the hoof sits in is cushioned and takes the leg weight too.
What will they do with out skilled labour's... this was an awesome thing to behold. I never knew that a horse huff could take all of that and how they put the horse shoe on.. Man you are skilled at what you do.
Oh man..this guy is a true meticulous craftsman..makes a plastic surgeon's lyposuction work as walk in the park..someone throw that guy a big bonus and give him a nice raise.
Literally the only asmr I can deal with. Only bc I've always been fascinated with farriers.

Oh wow! The art, knowledge and respect he gives this horse! Blew me away
Best farrier work I have seen on the internet 👏 🙌!! Very well done 👏!! Your work is like sculpture 👍 !!! Beautiful work 👌!!! Excellent!!
That was amazing to see, never seen that done before, great work!
Think about the paradise treatment this horse is getting. They don't get looked after like this in the wild, that's for damn sure.
This is beautiful to watch.
The skill and craftsmanship is amazing
I could tell when the horse started to feel relieved
I watched this with my wife and 3 and 5 year old sons. We were mesmerized!
Hey I really enjoyed you video.
My dad was a farrier also.
He learned the trade in the Calvary during WW2 and never left the field.
Dad passed at the age of 80 and shod until he was 78 .
On occasion he'd get a call fromMichigan State Veterinarian college for some thoughts and information.
Not bad for a man with an 8th grade education.
He another farrier and the professor designed and made one of the first navicular shoes.
He used to say, those guys aren't farriers, they only cold shoe, no forage, no clips and a wimpy anvil,
which I still own today.
He also used to" hot check" the fit
I never seen the knife you used to clean around the frog, that looked interesting.
Sir, not that it matters but my father would have had the upmost respect for you!
THAT'S ONE TOUGH JOB!!!
Thanks for the memories .
Ps where were the dogs to haul off the scrap hoofs?
Tldr
Man wrote a life story in the comments 😀
Thank you ...enjoyed hearing about your dad. Fond memories...be sure to pass them down. 😊
I was in tears for the horsey but I realized he not feeling any pain, great job and I love the care shown ❤ 💜 ♥
Same as a nice pedicure
It feels amazing on my feet, I have empathy on the horse, I can feel the horses relaxation the sense of relief for example removing a painful glass from a foot and then it all healed no pain and it get this sense of relief that what kind of relief of relief the way he scraps the old nail it feel so good I can physically feel it on my feet and it feels amazing 🤩🤩🥰🥰😍😍🐴🐾

I have no idea if you are doing it right or wrong. But, seeing how the horse is cool with what your doing... GOOD JOB!!!
Highly professional and precision job.
The man does it with dexterity and makes it look very easy.
I was at times concerned whether his actions hurt the animal.
But the precision and neatness of the job is amazing.
Hooves don't have any nerve endings so they don't feel any pain even when they are nailed... so relax bro
It's a manicure for horses
@@erenyeager5415 hooves do have nerve as well as blood vessels at a certain core depth.
I have witnessed oxen writhing in pain when the nail touches nerves and contracting septic due to the environmental ingress
Have no idea why I watched this the first time but after it was over I had to put my headphones on and watch it again and listen to everything going on this was just flat out amazing skill
0:21 what a nice Coconut
Those are some very attractive hands and arms 😅😊 strong, skilled and yet gentle ..
