Something I don't see enough people saying, Kane's duel with the Pillager king shows the lengths that he has gone to get stronger since his duel with Rain when they first met. His embarrassing defeat must have sparked something for him to get stronger physically instead of his historic dependence on weaponry
along with that we see how different Kane behaves then compared to now in the Falling Kane had a tough, aggressive mindset but after that we see he is a pretty nice guy with a lot of charm when needed
One interesting thing I noticed is how Kain referred to Stella at the end as "the Demon Witch" as if there was still trust issues between them, which makes sense considering how they met and the prophecy Kain was given. I imagine that this will be further explored in later videos, which really excites me for the future. Thank you Rainimator for this incredible video

I must say, there is a lot in this video different from the others. Firstly and most obviously: There is a lot more dialogue. This is something I definitely do prefer since it allows for more direct story that needn't be decoded from the action. In this case, we also get much more background on Kane, which is of course helpful for character development. Then there's the difference that the Pillager King uses the End Crystal. That is different because in Eternals the Piglin King clearly does not. The Pillager King using the End Crystal makes him much more terrifying of a foe and shows us the importance of the End Crystals, which were previously just MacGuffins. It also allowed for the twist with Kane destroying the End Crystal, which obviously sparks conflict and story progression later on. Yet I do think the impact of the End Crystal's destruction is not made as apparent as it should be, which will probably be fine in the greater scope at season's end, but somehow makes this ending feel empty. Overall still a good story and video, it will be interesting how this is handled later on.
Not everyone can harness the power of an end crystal, and not everyone can do it directly This is why the piglin king didn't, but people like Naeus and Arabella can with ease, and why the pillager king can't actually directly absorb a crystal but he can use its power in short intervals and imbue it into a weapon that gives him special powers when used Thr destruction of this crystal won't be handled at all throughout the rest of the series tho

This story can basically be broiled down to: Kane and Ciara fight Klaus the gigachad pillager over a magic rock, while awesome music plays in the background.

The illager is the name of the species, but the pillager is one of the individual "classes," like the axe-toting vindicator, the magical evoker, and the ever-elusive illusionist. (Pillagers, by the way, carry crossbows.) Also, on the wiki, it calls Klaus the "pillager king," so yeah.

This expands into the complex lore I'm still struggling to understand, but with each animation, it opens up a little more! (With some theorising on my part too, that is.) I have been scanning each line of dialogue and animation for the last three years. Whatever lore is hidden if any, I will unearth it! Slick animations as always, Rain! Keep up the hella fly work!
Kane is a bad guy. Remember the piglet commander? Not to mention how he left the liliger king in this video alone. I think Kane is going to betray us at some point. He seems to know everything before it happens.
I like it how Kane almost has his arm decapitated and just pulls out the axe from his hand yet the pillager attacking Ciara just dies with a shot to the elbow. Anyway thanks for the masterpiece Rain.
I have a feeling that the crystal isn't so much destroyed as "gone". By how powerful they all seem to be, I don't think that's something that you just destroy in one gun shot, even if it's a Kane gunshot. Also, Kane is probably going to have some more new fans after this one.
Idk, the fact that the crystal exploded kinda showed that it was destroyed. Plus, the crystals were always unstable to begin with so that's probably why it exploded with just a gunshot.
I love how side character development is so great and we're learning more about this universe. Glad it's being expanded instead of ending really quick.

uh-oh... it's strange to see Kane being the emotional one while Ciara is the clear-headed one for once. I wonder what Kane's history with the Pillagers is... Also I find it intriguing how you made the Pillagers...not hostile mobs, but at least able to be communicated with. How many more different factions will be added to this series as it's being made while more and more features are added to the game lol. You're always good at giving each new character or faction a well-crafted story while developing that of your existing characters, and I look forward to being the happy audience of them all. Of course, the End crystal giving its user Ender powers is an unexpected and awesome plot point. I couldn't help but think about Kane's fight with the flying skeleton in Poison. And, hah, Ciara teleporting right into getting strangled by the Pillager king reminds me of her fight with the Piglin king in Eternal. Lovely callbacks.
I just cannot believe that Rain used my idea of inserting Crystals into weapons. I came up with it in a plot suggestion back in May. I do want to say that in Poison, that was a man dragon. Like Purple Reaper.
@The Man with No Name I am just glad he even considered the plot suggestion. It is related to the War of the Ender Kingdoms but the main character is more powerful than Prime Lance and was able to mop the floor with him. He then proceeded to become a man dragon and fly off when Lance attacked his kingdom no crystal was needed for either. The inserting Crystals into weapons was when his mother took on 4 Crystal Prime Lance and nearly won. The power I gave those characters was not something I expected to be considered but it is so I am grateful.
I just took 3 hours to finish all of the videos from start to finish and I absolutely love and respect your work. The amount of improvement and lore there is insane. I seriously can’t put into words how much this series has inspired and influenced me throughout the years I’ve been watching it. I watched MC animations when I was younger, I absolutely loved them. You’ve turned MC into basically a template, and have put your own ideas into it. I’m in my mid teens now, and I am more then 100% here for this absolute masterpiece of a story.

I have no idea what’s going on with this story, it was about hero brine starting a zombie apocalypse and rains girlfriend joining him and rain having to somehow stop them from winning and now it’s a bunch of weird random clans and kingdoms fighting for something with no real end goal

Honestly one of my favourites you’ve made so far. I love how detailed it is, the way the girl was too weak to fight because she was stabbed and almost died to one of his minions was realistic at 1:36 Also 2:35 when the trees did a wave affect from the crystal being destroyed was smooth!

Well well, new chapter. Short but epic. A lot of dialogue that works as context of the relation between Kane, Ciara and the pillagers. The pillager king seemed to be very strong, even be capable of intercept Ciara when she teleported herself to attack. He just impaled her and escaped with the crystal (maybe because the chapter would finish with two undeads truly dead...), fighting with Kane after he reached. It was epic when Kane destroyed the crystal and take off his armor to fight with his own fists. Showing an incredible strength he defeat the king and let him die by the zombies. I love the irony of a king dying by a simple corpses who can walk hehe. The detail than Kane and Ciara can't die except if they are attacked with magic sounds interesting. Basically, they can be hurt and feel pain or weakness because off a hurt, but an axe couldn't kill Kane for example. Literally he pulled himself off the axe of his shoulder in middle of the fight, and still could use his hurt shoulder to fight against the king. The pillagers showed to be very strong, hurting Kane and Ciara easily. The King with the crystal well... a fucking demon with wings and all. Without it, a simple king with muscles xD Of course the animation still be excellent and fluid. The expressions are realistic and credibles. I want to be the next episode soon. I want to see how the destruction of the end crystal affects to the story.

Very cool! Rain's skill grows up as videos become even more legendary! I LOVE IT!!! Also so many little moments gets their logical meaning, for example that Crystal on Pillager King's throne began to tremble only when he used its power (and we saw it, both Crystal statements in one scene) - 1:14.

Journal 1: Character: brutalbone Type: elite Wither skeleton. 2nd battalion. My bones rattled for the battle that was to come. It had been so long since I had fought in the real War, yet with our new and revived King, we would finish off the humans once and for all. My 2 swords would cut and tear into the flesh of our enemies without Mercy. Yet whenever the battle came my bloodlust was not satiated. We barely got to fight at all, but we did manage to win just based off of our great Kings might. And there was nothing to complain about whenever it came to winning a battle such as this one. I finally did get to do something whenever we managed to engage some Frostborne in a Outpost. Our team was elsewhere and the elite guard was leading the charge. All across the Frontline we were winning. And it was no different here. We copped arrows out of the sky before our Mage blew open the gate. We rushed into the Stonecastle, I was one of the first ones inside. I chopped down several frostborne footsoldiers and archers with My immense mobility. However eventually I came across my first challenge, it was a lead human Soldier wielding a Greatsword. Even though he was a challenge I was better. I managed to cut off both of the soldiers arms and stabbed him with both of my swords in his chest. He did get me pretty good on my ribcage however, which now has cracks running through it. I was forced to retreat for medical attention which is where I'm writing this from. (Hi! This dosent have anything to do with the acual episode, just some Fun oc stuff. Hope you like it, my spelling isn't the best.

I just wanted to say thanks for the awesome videos Rainimator. Your whole story line has given me something to dig into and think about for the past couple of years when things have gotten very dark for me.
Does anyone notice how Klaus fights amazing well with Kane but loses yet refuses to fight the undead and instead tries to command them and gets eaten when he could easily destory them? Or was that just me
Man, Klaus could be one of the few characters that has a chance of killing at least one of the crusaders. This fight is going to be intense. On a side note, Klaus be rocking a hammer like Glutton.

IDK if it's just me, but judging by the sounds at the end of the video I don't think the pillager king died, but I don't think he made it out unharmed either. I theorize that he might come back next episode as a half-zombie or with a zombie infection he needs to cure. Even if the pillager king did die, the illagers are a large faction, so they would definitely appear again for like revenge or something. I also like how Rainimator interpreted the illagers as an actual civilization rather than a failed science experiment to create super-soldiers or something. I hope to see them again.

I really like more dialogs with more focus on story. I'm kinda sad, that you killed Klaus already, could be interesting to see more of his chemistry with Kane.
That would be because the VA's are the same person. I forgot his name, but the guy who voices Zane in Aphmau's MyStreet voices Kane. Also, Hilda, the woman in Gotta Get Outta Here with the short iron mace is voiced by Princess Rizu AKA Caitlyn from MyStreet. Those two VA's also voice way more characters in this series than Kane and Hilda.

Something I don't see enough people saying, Kane's duel with the Pillager king shows the lengths that he has gone to get stronger since his duel with Rain when they first met. His embarrassing defeat must have sparked something for him to get stronger physically instead of his historic dependence on weaponry

along with that we see how different Kane behaves then compared to now in the Falling Kane had a tough, aggressive mindset but after that we see he is a pretty nice guy with a lot of charm when needed

One interesting thing I noticed is how Kain referred to Stella at the end as "the Demon Witch" as if there was still trust issues between them, which makes sense considering how they met and the prophecy Kain was given. I imagine that this will be further explored in later videos, which really excites me for the future.

I must say, there is a lot in this video different from the others. Firstly and most obviously: There is a lot more dialogue. This is something I definitely do prefer since it allows for more direct story that needn't be decoded from the action. In this case, we also get much more background on Kane, which is of course helpful for character development.
Then there's the difference that the Pillager King uses the End Crystal. That is different because in Eternals the Piglin King clearly does not. The Pillager King using the End Crystal makes him much more terrifying of a foe and shows us the importance of the End Crystals, which were previously just MacGuffins. It also allowed for the twist with Kane destroying the End Crystal, which obviously sparks conflict and story progression later on. Yet I do think the impact of the End Crystal's destruction is not made as apparent as it should be, which will probably be fine in the greater scope at season's end, but somehow makes this ending feel empty.
Overall still a good story and video, it will be interesting how this is handled later on.

This is why the piglin king didn't, but people like Naeus and Arabella can with ease, and why the pillager king can't actually directly absorb a crystal but he can use its power in short intervals and imbue it into a weapon that gives him special powers when used
Thr destruction of this crystal won't be handled at all throughout the rest of the series tho

This expands into the complex lore I'm still struggling to understand, but with each animation, it opens up a little more! (With some theorising on my part too, that is.) I have been scanning each line of dialogue and animation for the last three years. Whatever lore is hidden if any, I will unearth it! Slick animations as always, Rain! Keep up the hella fly work!

I like it how Kane almost has his arm decapitated and just pulls out the axe from his hand yet the pillager attacking Ciara just dies with a shot to the elbow.

I have a feeling that the crystal isn't so much destroyed as "gone". By how powerful they all seem to be, I don't think that's something that you just destroy in one gun shot, even if it's a Kane gunshot.

Idk, the fact that the crystal exploded kinda showed that it was destroyed. Plus, the crystals were always unstable to begin with so that's probably why it exploded with just a gunshot.

it's strange to see Kane being the emotional one while Ciara is the clear-headed one for once. I wonder what Kane's history with the Pillagers is...
Also I find it intriguing how you made the Pillagers...not hostile mobs, but at least able to be communicated with. How many more different factions will be added to this series as it's being made while more and more features are added to the game lol. You're always good at giving each new character or faction a well-crafted story while developing that of your existing characters, and I look forward to being the happy audience of them all.
Of course, the End crystal giving its user Ender powers is an unexpected and awesome plot point. I couldn't help but think about Kane's fight with the flying skeleton in Poison.
And, hah, Ciara teleporting right into getting strangled by the Pillager king reminds me of her fight with the Piglin king in Eternal. Lovely callbacks.
I just cannot believe that Rain used my idea of inserting Crystals into weapons. I came up with it in a plot suggestion back in May.
I do want to say that in Poison, that was a man dragon. Like Purple Reaper.

@The Man with No Name I am just glad he even considered the plot suggestion. It is related to the War of the Ender Kingdoms but the main character is more powerful than Prime Lance and was able to mop the floor with him. He then proceeded to become a man dragon and fly off when Lance attacked his kingdom no crystal was needed for either. The inserting Crystals into weapons was when his mother took on 4 Crystal Prime Lance and nearly won. The power I gave those characters was not something I expected to be considered but it is so I am grateful.

Rain, your videos never cease you amaze me. Your animation skills have improved drastically since The Struggle, and back then, your animation was still great! It has been a pleasure to follow you through this incredible journey, that has put me through a roller coaster of emotions. The detail on everything is superb, and the story is unmatched. Well well, new chapter. Short but epic. A lot of dialogue that works as context of the relation between Kane, Ciara and the pillagers. The pillager king seemed to be very strong, even be capable of intercept Ciara when she teleported herself to attack. He just impaled her and escaped with the crystal (maybe because the chapter would finish with two undeads truly dead...), fighting with Kane after he reached. It was epic when Kane destroyed the crystal and take off his armor to fight with his own fists. Showing an incredible strength he defeat the king and let him die by the zombies. I love the irony of a king dying by a simple corpses who can walk hehe.
The detail than Kane and Ciara can't die except if they are attacked with magic sounds interesting. Basically, they can be hurt and feel pain or weakness because off a hurt, but an axe couldn't kill Kane for example. Literally he pulled himself off the axe of his shoulder in middle of the fight, and still could use his hurt shoulder to fight against the king.
The pillagers showed to be very strong, hurting Kane and Ciara easily. The King with the crystal well... a fucking demon with wings and all. Without it, a simple king with muscles xD
Of course the animation still be excellent and fluid. The expressions are realistic and credibles. I want to be the next episode soon. I want to see how the destruction of the end crystal affects to the story.

My bones rattled for the battle that was to come. It had been so long since I had fought in the real War, yet with our new and revived King, we would finish off the humans once and for all. My 2 swords would cut and tear into the flesh of our enemies without Mercy.
Yet whenever the battle came my bloodlust was not satiated. We barely got to fight at all, but we did manage to win just based off of our great Kings might. And there was nothing to complain about whenever it came to winning a battle such as this one.
I finally did get to do something whenever we managed to engage some Frostborne in a Outpost. Our team was elsewhere and the elite guard was leading the charge. All across the Frontline we were winning. And it was no different here. We copped arrows out of the sky before our Mage blew open the gate.
We rushed into the Stonecastle, I was one of the first ones inside. I chopped down several frostborne footsoldiers and archers with My immense mobility. However eventually I came across my first challenge, it was a lead human Soldier wielding a Greatsword. Even though he was a challenge I was better. I managed to cut off both of the soldiers arms and stabbed him with both of my swords in his chest. He did get me pretty good on my ribcage however, which now has cracks running through it. I was forced to retreat for medical attention which is where I'm writing this from.

Does anyone notice how Klaus fights amazing well with Kane but loses yet refuses to fight the undead and instead tries to command them and gets eaten when he could easily destory them? Or was that just me

Man, Klaus could be one of the few characters that has a chance of killing at least one of the crusaders. This fight is going to be intense. On a side note, Klaus be rocking a hammer like Glutton.

Rainimator is the only channel that can make a 3 min video feel like a movie i have been watching you guys for a long time now since the original cold as ice days so do me a favor keep up the good work
IDK if it's just me, but judging by the sounds at the end of the video I don't think the pillager king died, but I don't think he made it out unharmed either. I theorize that he might come back next episode as a half-zombie or with a zombie infection he needs to cure. Even if the pillager king did die, the illagers are a large faction, so they would definitely appear again for like revenge or something. I also like how Rainimator interpreted the illagers as an actual civilization rather than a failed science experiment to create super-soldiers or something. I hope to see them again.
Kane gets more and like a bloodborne hunter every time he shows up, at this point I'm just waiting to see him in some armor that looks like a hunter's clothes

That would be because the VA's are the same person. I forgot his name, but the guy who voices Zane in Aphmau's MyStreet voices Kane. Also, Hilda, the woman in Gotta Get Outta Here with the short iron mace is voiced by Princess Rizu AKA Caitlyn from MyStreet. Those two VA's also voice way more characters in this series than Kane and Hilda.
