Its not only Fairouz devine voice or the great composers!
BUT mostly Gibran Khalil Gibran amazing words.. look for Gibran/Jibran.. he was the last angel on eath!
This song is the first song taught in schools in Lebanon/Syria/Palestine/Jordan and probably other parts of the arabic speaking world!
Wow
Fairuz songs are not for shaking bodies and heads bro, they are for shaking memories and brains instead ... cheers
fairouz is a legend , but she's mostly known for her jazz songs .
Her songs are mostly defined as classic arabic music
But the arabic theme in music and poetry is something totally different although she grasps some of it in a couple of her songs .
You should listen to her song li beirut dedicated to the city . Amazing lerics and music.
The diva Fairuz, my favorite singer
She is the greatest Arab singer ever..
Greetings from Yemen
If I feel homesick the first one I listen her songs because every morning her voice all over Baghdad streets loved it
thank you I'm Lebanese and I love what you do :)
This song takes you on a Heavenly visit while still on earth ! An eternal master piece by three Lebanese greats; Gibran Khalil Gibran ( author ), legendary singer Fairuz, and Najib Hankash composer.
You referred to the singer as Gentleman. Actually Fairouz is one of the most famous female Arab vocalist of all time. But thank you for praising the music and the lyrics. By the way this lyrics is by Gobran Gobran who is also a famous Arab-American writer and poet.
Feiruz is the morning coffee of the Arab world.
The middle one is the pronounciation for those who can't read arabic letters
The Arab world starts the day Fairuz, and ends it with Om Kalthum.
I would love to hear you review Baaed Annak (When I am near you) but Um Kulthum, who’s song Enta Omri, you’ve already reviewed. The lyrics of this one are very well translated, and the poetry is just so beautiful and romantic. It might even make you cry!! And it would certainly make my very proud to share this music with you and all your followers!! 😍🥰
