Dola Purnima Rituals in Shrimandir.

On Dola Purnima,after the completion of the Abakasha ritual,the Palia Mekapa sevak brings Chandan from Bhandara Ghara which is applied to the bodies of the deities by the Pushpalaka sevaks.After that the deities are dressed in new Boirani and Khandua clothes.The deities are adorned with Gabhaa.The Palia Pratihari sevak goes to the Saraghara to call for the Khai Kora food offerings to be brought to the Garbhagruha.After the food offerings are arranged infront of the Singhasan,Dolagobinda is brought to the Singhasan by Mahajan sevaks from the Dakhini Ghara.The Bhoga is completed in Pancha Upachar by the Pujapanda sevak in the presence of Mahajana,Akhanda Mekapa,Garabadu and Palia Khuntia sevaks.After the completion of the Bhoga the Garbhagruha is cleaned.Dolagobinda,Bhudebi and Sridebi recieve Agyanmaala from Mahaprabhu and are taken to the Nabhikata Mandapa by the Mahajan sevaks after circambulating them seven times around the Singhasan.There they are seated on a cot.There the idols are cleaned,painted and dressed with new silk clothes provided by Raghaba Dasa Matha.After that food offerings are brought there by the Palia Mahasuar sevak.Mudirasta conducts Prasaad Lagi.The Bhoga is offered in Pancha Upachara by the Pujapanda sevak.After that the Mahajan sevaks carry the deities and seat them in a Vimana kept at the entrance of Satapahacha.The Vimana is taken in seven rounds around the main temple.After that the Vimana is taken to Dolabedi.The Vimana is kept on the ground after taking seven rounds around the Dolabedi.The deities are seated on the swing by the Mahajan sevaks after carrying them in seven rounds around the swing.After that,Sahana Mela or common darshan for the devotees is open.After the exit of the devotees the area is cleaned and three food offerings are made amidst the playing of Ghanta and Kahali and the display of Chattra.All the three offerings are made in Sodasha Upachar.
After that the deities are descended from the swing.The Mudirasta sevak conducts Niucchali(offers a new cloth to the deities to wipe themselves).After that the deities are taken for seven rounds around the swing.They are offered Prasad Lagi and Bandapana under the Dolabedi.The deities are seated in the Vimana and it is taken in seven rounds around the Dolabedi and is brought back to Shrimandir.The vimana is taken in six rounds around the main temple after that.The Vimana is kept near Saraswati Temple.The Shitala Bhoga food offerings arranged by the Parba Jatra Jogania sevak is offered to the deities.Then the Vimana is taken to the door of Bhandara Ghara and kept there.There the deities are offered Jalalagi and Bandapana.Finally,Dolagobinda is taken back to Dakhini Ghara and Bhudebi Shridebi are taken back to the Singhasan.

बहुधा उपचारेण केतकी पुष्प संयुतैः , पुजयेत् दोलगोविन्दं भक्तिमुक्ति प्रदायकम् ||"
In the month of Falguna , on the day of Purnima worshipping Dolagovinda with authentic upacharas , colors , flowers , singing bhajans , playing instruments & dancing leads to Ultimate salvation .
