NO I CAN DO IT MY SELF!!! :) Too much money you paid! Way too much they could have done a far better job even for the 200! SHould have been super realistic!
Of the three, Mafestoo was by far the best detailed for the price. However, at the same time, Mafestoo failed miserably at one specific element of the rendering, and that was in creating a sense of warmth in the courtyard. This image looks as if it is dusk, and at a time when the courtyard lights should have been turned on. My opinion suggests that the sunset would have been to the east (right side) of this image, and the right facing wall should have been shaded darker than the left-side facing wall. Additionally, (in my opinion) there should have been a gradient of dark to light shadowing running up the left-facing wall as well. The fact that the courtyard was left relatively shadowed and unlit give this courtyard a rather dark, cold and unattractive (or uncomfortable) feel to it; only by adding warmth by subtle lamp-lighting would have made a significant difference to the feel of the courtyard. In my opinion, Hanum did the absolute best rendering to capture light and shadow along the walls and courtyard. If, however, Mafestoo had done the same, then hands-down, Mafestoo would have won. For this price comparison and competition, I have to give it to Hanum. However, for the cheap, Joseeki gets an 'Honorable Mention' - incredible rendering and use of shadowing effects... for the price, Joseeki provided more than I would have expected for this price point. Well done.
I feel like the fiverr prices devaluate so much the archviz work (and other fields too, probably). Sure, if someone can ask 30$ for a project and do a decent image that some clients are happy with what's the point of asking a fair price that makes sense for your work and background. No point on trying to sell freelance jobs on the internet on these sites unless you don't value your work high enough. Better to stick with local clients...
That's one of the biggest issues from platforms like this. And that goes the same way for online courses. There are course marketplaces that sell lessons so cheap, that the knowledge and time the creator put into making it is not valued at all. There are good and bad sides to selling your services online, the challenge is how to get the value you're worth it. And people undervaluing their work to get the gig happens in any type of market, I've seen architects charge a fraction of the project's real value only to get the contract over other peers. It's just sad... Btw thanks a lot for sharing this input here, Luana
@@LearnUpstairs Not to mention how expensive the tools are, you need a great hardware to render and work efficiently. The only good side of selling the services online is to built a portfolio or practice if you are starting, that's it, although I would choose to find an office job instead.
my thoughts exactly when I saw this. there is no way it should be in this price range. I wonder what is realistic price range for such project in your opinion?
Why the 30$ prices on fivver is that 30$ is quit a lot for third world country like mine. If you work in the office job, you could only get around 180$ for the whole month worth of rendering. So 30 $ for a few days is worth while. The other thing might be the software used. For those who use paid software like Maya and 3Ds Max, it might cost more but if you use software like blender which is free, you don't have to think of the software price in the work. All in all, each client has their own requirements and higher price may get higher quality but if you don't have that much budget, 30$ with reasonable quality might do for you in such case.
@@LearnUpstairs It's a free market, as in any other domain. Sometimes you're just starting your own practice and you're not such a known architect, so in order to gain clients...you need to back down from the pricing...that's just my opinion. Sure, it has downsides, but everyone needs to make a living. Everybody knows that most of the time, price reflects quality...the clients also. Not everybody needs a high quality image...so they pay for a lower quality one. In photography, there's a similar problem..but they are more accepting of this - there are high end photographers who ask for a lot of money, and amateurs who ask for little money - no problem.
How on earth does anyone make a living on $30 a render? It doesn't matter how fast or streamlined your process is, it will still take you at least 1 hour to import, dress and setup a view and export it. Add in electricity costs, software license costs and hardware costs and you would be losing money with each image before you even factor in your own time.
I really liked the end of afternoon light of render #2. it really compliments the volumes. I am not too sure about the types of trees, I would guess you'd like trees giving more shade on this hard cement open space. And yes the bulky guy in the middle looks too big. But this is a quick fix. Render #3 is really nice and I like the cement tiles, much more realistic. But the whole composition is a bit dark for my taste. The lightning of #2 on #3 would be gorgeous!

These fiverr videos are just making the job worth less. $200 for the "premium" one? In brazil it may be a minimum wage, but architectural visualizations is not an standard job, it requires skills and you need time to learn it, free or paid, you have a set of skills not everybody has, period. The cheap one should cost 200, the premium 600 at least. If you work in fiver raise your prices bro, you're not just hurting yourself but you peers.
$200 for the premium is OK, in my opnion, in Brazil working with render is complicated. Bad deadlines and lots of changes to make. The final price ends up being little for the demand

I liked the second one the most, albeit the people were a bit small. I think the combination of: the details, the lighting and color values of the second one and the interiors, the concrete, the people and vegetation of the last one would be perfect. Not a fan of motion blur of people on the last one, combined with the HDR sky and almost like a dark gradient in the bottom half of the render. Also the sky reflection color was different than the actual sky in the last one. Not worth the double price imo.

For $30.-…😳… might as well do it for free!!! I work in this field and I wouldn’t be able to feed a family, pay taxes, health insurance, and rent for the house if I would do these jobs for that lousy price… it just doesn’t add up. This is absolutely ruinous. Why don’t you ask someone to do it for free and see what happens?
It depends on where you live and in what stage of your “career” you are. 30 dollars converting to another currency that is on a low can become quite useful. I know that for some Latin American countries, India, and some others, 30 USD is not just some pocket money. Nonetheless I agree with you, a professional shouldn’t charge only that. But that was what he charged and what he asked for the Fiverr gig
In my opinion, the usd100 render is the best, with one more correction that render will be perfect, the usd200 one is very good, but it concentrated, perhaps, on the interiors and on other worse details, forgetting to add a light rune between both volumes to separate them and give it a vortex appearance hidden behind the volumes, if I do a night render it is the first element I add
I liked the $30 one the best, it was sunny and warm, a place I would want to be, the others were too dramatic, almost creepy, blurry people, one guy looking at the photographer as if he's angry he's being photographed, just picky I guess, those are all personal associations, but the building is very nice which is what your clients will be looking at. I doubt they notice the things you do.
8:14 Those leaves on the ground are really irking me on that one, how they are in clusters and do not really look like they are on the ground. Also those look like pines so there would not be leaves.
first image is great. i did notice the woman on the left has lower opacity so we can see through her a little, something that is quite bad for such a good overall image
There's a lack of foreground shadows and framing with vegetation with all of them and as you say a clear distinction between the volumns ......the lighting could be definitely improved upon......some basics of composition were ingnored for sure...
I notice that all three of them struggles with adding people into scene right, definitly they could use 3D scans of people if they have hard times compositing them into scene in post. If photoshop isnt their strongest skill, they definitly should look into Red Giant Supercomp plugin for AE, which i also recommend to check to all of you, really usefull stuff.
I found the values very consistent with the images, but I was surprised by the quality of the 30$ one. It's funny, our Brazilian brain automatically converts the price to Real, so I would expect a little more from an image over R$1000.00. The lack of depth and perception of the building's volumes bothers me just a little bit, but I believe that with one review they would be able to reach this point. As always the video is amazing and I loved this type of analysis, it gives us a perception of details that we sometimes let slip and how they affect the final render!
The only time I used Fiverr proved to be a total failure, albeit a handy learning experience for me. I had an unusual Audio problem in Arch Linux, causing a loud buzzing unaffected by the usual Sound settings. I found a guy, who then came back to me with excuses for his delay. He probably searched online, as I did, and not found the solution, as I did. I did however spot a subtle insight within Terminator (nobody online talked about), pointing to a reasoned a solution, and fixing it myself. Never heard from the other guy, we didn't even discuss his payment.
Genial!

I think all of them charge way too little. Even the last one. Like how can you model in the whole interior, light it properly, add props inside and still charge 200 usd. The first one should be at least 125, the second one 250 and the last one 450 in my opinion
Damn! $30? I ain’t bragging or something but in my Country that kind of Render is only worth $15 but some Schematic Renders only cost like $5-$10 but with the only use of SketchUp (Not worth if I were the Client tho) And that $200 Render was like only $50-$60 Per Sheet: Exterior Perspective or Interior Perspective) In my Architectural Firm: Render: Exterior Perspective = $30/Sheet Render: Interior Perspective = $50/Sheet Consultation = $5/Hour Detailed Architectural Plan (Residential Bldg) = $50/Sheet Detailed Architectural Plan (Commerical Bldg) = $60/Sheet Detailed Structural Plan = $80/Sheet Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing Layout = $50/Sheet Material-Cost Estimates ($50K - $1M) = $50/Set Material-Cost Estimates ($1M - $10M) = $100/Set Material-Cost Estimates ($10M - $20M) = $200/Set

Exploiting people is fun. I don't care if the currency in some of the countries where people live and do freelance work is low, use that to your advantage and charge a competitive rate, make more money. $30 renders just drags the entire industry down and it's why it's hard to make a living in ArchViz in countries with a strong economy. This practice isn't unique to ArchViz either, other CGI industries suffer from the same downfalls.
Hey Ignacio, I've heard a lot about Fiverr, but I've never worked on the platform to really know all the details. I think it may be a great way to start, especially because you get connected with people all over the world, can charge international rates and they don't charge monthly fees. Just above there's a comment here that is saying that Fiverr holds 20% of the revenue. This is definitely something to take into account, but again if it weren't for the service Fiverr provided, you probably wouldn't have that gig to start with. It'd be awesome if someone that has already worked on Fiverr could give their input here.
Guys im trying to get into this field and i have some questions: 1) do they send you the 3d model of the project and you just render it? And if no can you request it at a lower price ? 2) how do i know what price to get? I am in a country where 200 dollars is a good deal but how do i know if i should rise my prices ?
Thanks, 4U! The $200 image was probably done on 3DS MAX. But I'm pretty certain you can achieve a very similar result with Vray + other 3d software, or even in other popular rendering engines with more basic modeling software. But specifically on this style, there's not a video on the channel that talks about it
Hello upstairs, i am working since a few month with photoshop, but i still dont know how architecture-artists creat this soft look in renders - like you see in 6:43. Do youknow which effect is mostly important for that? Regrads.
For the last image, are the windows frames meant to be in different colors for each building? One is with light frames and the other is with dark frames.
I didn't notice that, can you believe it? 😅 It has been a long time since this project was put together, but it doesn't make sense to have different colors on the frames of each building. That's definitely a mistake, but I'm not sure if it was like that in 3D, or it was changed during the rendering process.
it would we nicer if you added some kind of comparison. like if we can see all three and compare them it would be easier to answer your final quesiton :) i think 30usd one is fine but with a little adjustment on the 100usd one, it is worth tripling the mpney. 200usd one is not worty in my opiinion but i'm not an expert, I just graduated architecture.
Great works. Just a comment on the prices: I mean why waste so much time reading image directions, getting software and architecture knowledge, and working under pressure if you are going to do it for $30 dollars. This is how under payment of the industry is created.

Sou brasileiro sim! Que bom que curtiu o video! 😁 valeu!
I would love to have this file available online so that the community could have some fun and maybe have a little ‘competition’ of sort
Check the pinned comment 😀

Esperava nunca que tu fosse BR kkkkk, do nada no meio do vídeo "Principalmente se converter pra minha moeda local... aqui no Brasil" kkkkkkkkkk trabalho mt bom, sucesso mano!
Hahha tamo junto, Raphael! Valeu!
The 3rd one was best but if combined with the 2nd, wow
Are you from Brazil or just living here? Your english is unbelievable. I'm from Brazil. As you said 200 USD is a lot for us. Nice project.
He probably already has a full time job that covers all of his expenses.
The 100d had d best visualization... Except for that 1 giant guy 😁
Basically, Architectural Visualization is God mode to render 3D models and every designer offers their take on what the client wants to see.
I liked the birds, I think it'd feel empty without 'em
Hitchcock everyone?
Comments given are the same here...we see the big difference from the three options posted, thank you
Very poor light in the last one. I think the first, the cheapest I liked the most.

Thanks this was really fun....and great tips.... you got a new subscriber
I can't even tell that you are Brasilian, you speak english very good.
Sry if i didn't use the best words in english, im not I don't speak it too weel
Really good exercise! Thanks for this content
The 200k is too dark, but for the overall, amazing work!
SALVEEE! cada dia melhor manin.
I have to say that I liked the last one the least. Way too dark imo, and I didn't like the concrete ground tiles either...
Same
My friend is an architect, he also uses faded people like the first guy in his renderings
Wow! Great video! I loved it! I want more!!
Tava suspeitando que era brasileiro mesmo hahaha.
Ótimo conteúdo cara!!
Shame most people on Fiverr only want to pay minimum regardless of quality
8:14 Those leaves on the ground are really irking me on that one, how they are in clusters and do not really look like they are on the ground. Also those look like pines so there would not be leaves.
Ima download it thanks for sharing!!
first image is great. i did notice the woman on the left has lower opacity so we can see through her a little, something that is quite bad for such a good overall image
Indeed! It would look much better with solid and opaque people cutouts. But overall the first image is really good for sure
There's a lack of foreground shadows and framing with vegetation with all of them and as you say a clear distinction between the volumns ......the lighting could be definitely improved upon......some basics of composition were ingnored for sure...
I agree with you! Maybe the composition is a bit of my fault I guess haha I mean I suggested the scene after all
Great video, as always! 💙👊🏼
Good tip!
Basically, you get what you pay :)
Lets make something with twinmotiin... so you can compare just the quality of the results not the render software used.
I'm currently in contact with them, so stay tuned! Videos about twin motion are coming 🙌
Genial!
I think all of them charge way too little. Even the last one. Like how can you model in the whole interior, light it properly, add props inside and still charge 200 usd. The first one should be at least 125, the second one 250 and the last one 450 in my opinion
Amo quando vc aparece!!!
Just guessing...
- First render engine...i dont know
- Second render i think is vray for sketchup
- The last render seems to have been done in lumion
Descobri apenas nesse vídeo que você é do Brasil, Hahahaha. Eu to muito feliz com essa notícia.
Hahah achei que todos soubessem já 😅
Tamo junto Igor!!
Damn! $30?
I ain’t bragging or something but in my Country that kind of Render is only worth $15 but some Schematic Renders only cost like $5-$10 but with the only use of SketchUp (Not worth if I were the Client tho)
And that $200 Render was like only $50-$60 Per Sheet: Exterior Perspective or Interior Perspective)
In my Architectural Firm:
Render: Exterior Perspective = $30/Sheet
Render: Interior Perspective = $50/Sheet
Consultation = $5/Hour
Detailed Architectural Plan (Residential Bldg) = $50/Sheet
Detailed Architectural Plan (Commerical Bldg) = $60/Sheet
Detailed Structural Plan = $80/Sheet
Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing Layout = $50/Sheet
Material-Cost Estimates ($50K - $1M) = $50/Set
Material-Cost Estimates ($1M - $10M) = $100/Set
Material-Cost Estimates ($10M - $20M) = $200/Set
The reason why the price need to be high because of 20% cutrate fiverr take from our income, many people are upset about it though tbh
Thanks for the video Its really helpful for the new grads and bachelors like me to improve our ideas and perspectives on freelance rendering jobs 🤌🏻
Keep it up! 🙌🏻
I like the first one, cheap and nice
Learned a lot from this video. thank you ! Can you do a tutorial on glass rendering 🥳
Thanks, Miles! Glass is more on the rendering engine, I'll try to include that on some video. But in the meantime, you should check out TN3D Studio youtube channel. He's got some interesting content on rendering software

Maybe add a cornice it will look better!
This practice isn't unique to ArchViz either, other CGI industries suffer from the same downfalls.
oh hanum is my senior at atma jaya, nice and cool girl
which is the best way to start as a freelance in the world of archviz nowdays? i wanted to start a FIVERR acount but i don´t know!!
Caramba! Você é brasileiro... que dá hora!
Strangely enough, I really liked the $30 one, but would choose the £100 one.
Me too!
3rd one is crazy
Guys im trying to get into this field and i have some questions:
1) do they send you the 3d model of the project and you just render it? And if no can you request it at a lower price ?
2) how do i know what price to get? I am in a country where 200 dollars is a good deal but how do i know if i should rise my prices ?
Great video. Do you have any tutorials which show how to make a render in this style? ( the $200 one)
Thanks, 4U!
The $200 image was probably done on 3DS MAX. But I'm pretty certain you can achieve a very similar result with Vray + other 3d software, or even in other popular rendering engines with more basic modeling software.
But specifically on this style, there's not a video on the channel that talks about it
The 100 dollars project is the best, in my opinion
At the tenth month of the video, it may be late a bit to ask that but i wondered in what resolution, file size you required the final renders?
What about sharing 3d model to the subscribers and let them render on their own and make a video?
Done! Check the pinned comment 😀
Which program did they use? V-ray or render?
You should move. There are countries where you earn your monthly wage (the local wage you mentioned as an example) in a day or 2.
All of them WIN
es impresionante cada render, buen video!!!
it would we nicer if you added some kind of comparison. like if we can see all three and compare them it would be easier to answer your final quesiton :) i think 30usd one is fine but with a little adjustment on the 100usd one, it is worth tripling the mpney.
I mean maybe you just wasted too much money on education that's overpriced? Idk i have no background in archviz
@@gokiburi-chan4255 Hi. I dont work doing renders. Did i waste $ on overprices education?, Probably yes. But you do get a return of money invested fast. Time not so much.
In my opinion : I prefer the orientation of the sun in the 30$, and the quality of reflexion and sky of the 100$, i just don't like the 200$ because for me it sells very bad the luminosity of the appartments, it's a day render and they light up their appartements like at night , so when you wan't to do too much it's not all the time better... ( and the guy without tshirt haaahaaaaa nope)
Thanks for the Hindi subs
you can literally make the last one in lumion with a few clicks and no experience
Agora eu tive certeza!
