Do you run 2 point 1s? One at bow and one at console? Or how to you line up with a target say like a brush pile accurately or do you use the internal gps at the bow?

Hello!! I would like to ask a question about point-1! When I installed point-1 on my elite fs9, and was ready to calibrate, I found that the rate of turn was already 5-6 degrees, but my boat was tied to the shore and didn't move! What is the reason?
... Emphases should be made on, "Heading Extension" and chart on "Heading Up". Of all the videos I have watched, VERY FEW (you and one other) ever mention those two settings. Thank you for the video. Jeff

Of the HDS live 12 has its own GPS is a point one necessary? Thank you

Compass calibration keeps timing out. Using 2-3 degree starboard circle. Bus is on. Any suggestions? Simrad Go 9 unit.
I haven't done it with a Simrad before but its usually if you don't make the full turn in the allotted time frame

how or where do you turn on the heading extension feature?
About how large of a circle did you make?
I’m not real sure. If you following the rate of turn it makes it perfect though
My rate of turn is blank..any ideas??
I haven’t seen that before. Have you tried updating your units?
