In this video I will discuss the main intention and some important details regarding how my 27 Nakshatras series will unfold.
Our intention in this series is to convey the ROOT UNDERSTANDING of the Nakshatras and their symbolism through information found in the presiding literary authority on the subject, which is called the "Taitirriya Brahmana," an ancient commentary on the Krishna Yajur-veda which is part of the holy Vedas.
This root symbolism must be discerned and extracted from previous centuries' licentious use of the symbols and information on these important asterisms.
Two points of DISTORTION have emerged from the original authoritative source texts on the Nakshatras:
A - The Sidereal astrological camp has always assumed that the Zodiac signs and the Nakshatras have a cohesive symbology that cannot be unlinked from each other. However the Tropical Vedic camp of astrologers refute this because the Vernal equinox point (which creates 0 degrees Aries in our system) is moving against the backdrop of the sidereal stars every 2000 or so years, and thus Aries cannot be inherently associated with the stars (ie, Nakshatras) it frequented 2000 years ago.
Still today much lore about Nakshatras contains this unwarranted association with certain signs. This series aims to peer beyond that to the root.
Note that Sidereal users may still enjoy learning about the Nakshatras AT THEIR ESSENCE through this series without signs associations, so they can grasp which is which.
B - It is often regarded that the Vimshottari lord of a Nakshatra signifies important information about a Nakshatra's nature. The Vimshottari lord is the planet that rules the 1st Mahadasha when the Moon is natally placed in that Nakshatra.
For example: If the Moon falls into Krittika at birth, a person will experience the Sun Mahadasha for a few years until that Dasha has expended itself. Since during our early years of life as an infant we absorb cosmic influences like a sponge, it might be suggested that the influence of the first Mahadasha is very profound.
However the Vimshottari system is a natal astrology technique which was not known until a long time after the Deities of the Nakshatras were formulated by the ancient rishis and sages. Nakshatras were in fact a part of the traditional muhurta (electional, mundane) astrology of ancient times which was concerned with events, the timing of Marriage, wars, and lucky agricultural guidance - this had nothing to do with natal astrology.
Since the natal horoscope was not even a remote thought until thousands of years after the Nakshatras were formulated, we cannot correlate these natal "Vimshottari lords" with a Nakshatra's essential root symbolism.
This is an important series and I am proud to be sharing this information with you all. Namaste.

so you said you don't use nakshatra based dasha to time the event so with dasha you use apart from sign based dasha

I do use Chara-Navamsha dasha, as well as Graha maturity and Naisargika (natural age) dasha. Generally I stick to those as well as transits in my readings.

Tropical Astrology doesn't give out a lot of information about one's personality that is where Nakshatras come in and fill in the missing information on one's personality .
In Tropical Astrology i have my Sun sign in Aquarius . 9th house
    In Vedic Astrology i have my Moon sign in Hasta Pada1 ( Virgo ) / D9 Bharani Pada 2 ( Aries ) .
Each Nakshatra is ruled by a planet .
Hasta is ruled by the Moon . Pada1 is ruled by Mars Aries D1 chart . 5th house
Bharani is ruled by Venus . Pada 2 is ruled Mercury Virgo . D9 chart . 2nd house
In Tropical Astrology, My Moon sign is in Libra . 5th house
Venus defiantly rules my Moon sign .
