Walpurgisnacht 𝕻 Witches Coven

Coven witches meeting with the alleged presence of the devil in the figure of a goat. Apparently the first mention was made of a coven was around the year 1330. For the celebration of the coven, the witches, the devil knew of places removed, sometimes gloomy, like caves, shrines, landmarks or crossroads, sometimes, the home of a prominent member of the group. In Germany, Walpurgisnacht, the night of April 30 to May 1, is the night when the witches have await the arrival of spring. Brocken is the highest mountain in the Harz in north central Germany. It is noted for the phenomenon of the Brocken specter and for the witch celebrations that supposedly took place there on Walpurgis night. The Brocken spectrum is an expanded shadow, usually surrounded by rainbow-like halos, and cast in a fog bank in high mountain areas when the sun is low.
