    Export IR would make this really cool & practical to use.

    I have no idea why but around 1:00 when you said "...well now you can..." I LOL - something about your expression.
    Another excellent vid so far, will finish watching.
    Thanks!

    This seems a lot like the Mikko plugin, minus the ability to export IR's. Which is one of the most important features of the plugin. So it's unfortunate that's not possible with this Celestion Speaker Shaper. I feel like they wouldn't make it possible since it might affect their IR sales online, which is unfortunate. I totally agree with you man, with the ability to export IRs, this plugin would be awesome! It's still pretty cool though.
    Keep shredding brother!

    This seems like a somewhat less useful version of ML Sound Lab MIKKO. I really love that you can export IRs out of MIKKO and I can then put them on say my Fractal FM3. If the Speaker Shaper could export IRs and had a wider variety of Celestions (where's the Golds, Creams etc?) I would buy it.

      IR export does seem imperative for many of us. I suppose it targets the all in the box, studio crowd, but even there, flattening to IR to reduce simultaneous processing would be useful?

    Yes the IR thing would be great ,Can you just save settings on the plugin ?

    That sounds amazing, Ill have to give this a go. Good on yer!! Thanks for sharing. Love the way you pick from those chords-very beefy and in your face.

    It would be great if it felt like playing through a real cabinet and provided the correct speaker impedance for each speaker like they do in the fractal and that would be amazing for feeling like the real thing. this and the option to capture the sound in an IR to load to an external hardware loader for live use should make a product like this complete. great video once again. thanks for demonstrating this!

    It's more complicated than just load IR... But when you really know what you want, I think it's easier in the end than swipe or buy tons of IRs... Build the tone like in real, but within 2 minutes. Great plugin, I'll buy this, thank you Leon for great review 🙂👍

    I Like it i think it helps to get closer to authentic depth and dimension sometimes lacking in IRs and amp plugins In which i like using to save time and get the songs going !

    Anyone know what amp is feeding this cab sim? Is it an Axe FX or something else? Cheers!

    Nice demo. Thanks. Like you and others here have said, I think the lack of an ability to export IR's is a bit of a negative, but I did like what I heard.

    It's another great piece of gear it's like anything you have to learn to just use it and your limitations are only in your mind I'm sure like Leon said at some point they'll update this so you can save something that you create and your sound it's in that new creative and exported out but it's a very great definitely worth giving it a shot.

    Not bad. Overloud has a version of this now for their THU amp software called Super Cabinet. I used it on some guitar tones I wasn't happy with and it lets you mod tones nicely. This looks cool, but I honestly would love to see Fractal Audio expand more into this for their IR's. After all you can only model so many amps and effects. This gives you that next step in tone shaping.

      all sims should come with this feature why is softube so greedy?

  • @Sound_Stable

    What kind of latency were you getting with it? My only issue with Mikko right now is that the IR export does not sound the same as the dialed in tone, and the plugin has a ~2.3ms latency, so it's not really practical to use in real-time(imo).

    • @jaeger28
      @jaeger28 2 года назад

      Sound travels at the speed of about 1 foot per 1ms. So you wanna say if you sit 2ft away from a speaker, it's not usable for you? I'mm not entirely sure it matters at all as long as you can run at or below 10ms (which is like being 3 meters away from the guitar cab).

    • @Sound_Stable
      @Sound_Stable 2 года назад

      @@jaeger28 2.3ms makes a difference when you have to worry about latency associated with sample size and other plugins that all compound on top of each other. I don't know about you, but I don't just run Mikko(or any other cab loader) and nothing else. So, in real-time, a plugin of with a 2.3ms latency itself is not acceptable when I have to considered everything else running as well.

    • @theboofin
      @theboofin 2 года назад

      That latency is completely negligible...

    Great plugin but I'd like them to offer speakers as options and reduce the price. Hard competition with GGD/MIKKO I think. Never underestimate the cabinet pairing since that is the other main half of the equation. Great review! 👍

    should not this be included with all the amps? freaked greedy punks
