Having founded Gina Din Corporate Communications in 1997, Gina Din-Kariuki is not only a trailblazer in the African public relations business, but also a pioneer among women entrepreneurs in her home country of Kenya, where she has also been a mentor to many of the market’s top professionals and also an active philanthropist-all of which earned her the Outstanding Individual Achievement SABRE Awards this year.
Prior to launching her own firm, Gina previously spent 13 years as head of corporate affairs for Barclays Bank of Kenya, and parlayed her expertise in the financial services sector into relationships with clients including her former employer, Old Mutual, Kenya Commercial Bank and CIC Insurance. Kibakis ministers were true servants. Michuki first one in office in at 6am and probably last one to leave. Not asking for cuts or bribes or shares of Mpesa but just do it. Unlike the ones we had in Mois regime, you could not start a business without them asking for 10% cut. Thank god mpesa happened during Kibakis regime and not Moi's.
