    What makes it strong is that if your opponent is having issues with his draws and you at least have a Mewtwo. Chances are you win the game since you can attack starting turn two and usually get a knock out in the subsequent turns and by turn 4 you have your on hit KO. Also in the future if they ever make Rare Candy. That will make this deck better.

    Mew2 Decks are easily overwhelmed by faster decks like Blaine and Starmie EXs. It is also very very dependent on Gardevoir in order to be successful. Not really a strong deck anymore. Starmie EX and Blaine easily kills this one

    I think it's worth it to try Kangaskhan istead of normal MewTwo. It has 100hp and only needs 1 energy to attack so it can hit back istead of just being a sitting duck most of the time. However, it does have the drawback of having a 3 energy retreat cost

    Yo yo yo! Love the vid and it was really well explained! Gotta say though, during the last fight, you said you didnt want to place down Ralts as it could be in K.O. range, but honestly I think it's situational. If you didn't have 2 X Speeds, it would've been best to place down the Ralts, as it couldn't be K.O'd due to the "Only 1 trainer card per turn" rule. They could Sabrina, you could swap in Ralts, take 50 damage and freely live on 10, swap back for 1 X Speed and secure the game!
    Not a big deal, but I just thought I'd mention why Ralts there wouldnt be that bad
    TLDR; Ya cant Sabrina and Giovanni at the same time so u were totes safe

  • @rullies123
    @rullies123 13 дней назад +1

    Imo when playing a mewtwo deck whenever you have extra energy you should give it to gardevoir bc just in case they have a Sabrina you can use the xfast and retreat back into mewtwo basically ruining their attack I’ve done this and it’s saved me from tight matches this obviously won’t work if they can one shot her but it’s better than just having her die when there’s a chance she could live

    • @omologo95
      @omologo95 12 дней назад +1

      Agreed. It also allows you to use your Gardevoirs to soften up Venusaurs in that matchup, if the game goes late they can be crucial to secure the win.

      Probably mine. Charizard hits and takes nearly every ex does. Missing the 60 and extra 40 on the attack can suck sometimes, but rarely. Most things die to 150

    wouldnt it have been better to just run kangaskhan than normal mewtwo if you are not gonna use that mewtwo to attack?

    • @mihaelkeehl354
      @mihaelkeehl354 4 дня назад

      Kang is 3 retreat and cant be psyboosted. It dies to pika and starmie with gio and relies on coin flip. With Gard you get mewtwo active in 2 turns so it is not just a tank fodder thats why I like it.

    • @kashmir1225
      @kashmir1225 3 дня назад

      @mihaelkeehl354 that only works if you get gard early.and even then, it is usually better to put energy on your mewtwo ex rather than try to put 4 energy on normal mewtwo anyway. id let kang die early and sweep with m2 ex at that point. tbh at this point id rather use jynx instead of either mewtwo or kang just because i keep on running into articuno ex and mistys.

    Interesting that it has a non Ex Mewtwo, that would screw up my fights against this deck pretty often. Can't tell you how many games I've taken down a ralts or something early game, then I just have to kill one Mewtwo and the game is over. But the non Ex Mewtwo would mean they would have the option to put another strong blocker in that can kill most of my stuff with enough energy, and it only gives me one point if I kill it.
    I've focused a lot of getting early pokemon that deal damage out. A sandshrew on second or third turn dealing 70 damage wrecks this deck because they haven't had time to get their stuff out and powerup mewtwo, combined with a Giovani and it can 2 hit a mewtwo. I also run Dugtrio and I can't tell you how badly that has screwed people up when dig gets a heads. Means they have to throw their Sabrina or just sit there doing nothing. Only issue is I don't have something strong for late game, right now I'm just running a Marowak Ex. Sometimes I've actually gotten some wins just because I flipped two heads on the Marowak. I lose really badly against grass decks, but almost nobody is running grass decks right now.

    It's funny 😂 everyone using Mewtwo but not at its fullest. I love my Mewtwo deck that no one is using yet and sleeping on. Plus red card is joke 🤣 for me because people use it on me and it makes me win games. Seeing red card makes your opponent draw cards that they may need or draw cards to draw more cards😂. This game make me laugh 🤣. I'm wondering at the end of the day will we ever get dou color decks or will it just be mono for the whole game? I know they said they were working on it but I'm not sure how they'll make it work with the current setup. Pokemon TCG live is going in trio decks already. 😂 Here's hoping Pokemon TCG pocket gets dou or it just going be mono for ever.

      I think with the new card releases we will start seeing more and more depth in the actual battles. I get the feeling that they developed the game primarily with collection in mind, but there is very clearly a big audience for the battles. I think that would be enough for them to shift some extra focus and attention there!

    Deck is so overrated. Easily can beat it if you take out Gardevoir. That Mewtwo can’t feed itself the energies fast enough. And it discards 2 each time it uses its most powerful attack. I’ve literally shut this and that lapras deck down numerous times. They’re all hype.

    • @Awssomeplayer236
      @Awssomeplayer236 13 дней назад +1

      What are you yapping about? The deck runs two gardevoir lines and it’s pretty hard to knock one out. I don’t how you shut this kind of thing down without running anti meta deck, because otherwise your just playing the game and getting lucky enough to win.

    • @TLSGPokemon
      @TLSGPokemon  13 дней назад +1

      That's another reason for the additional mewtwo. Having 2 on the board means your Gardevoir/raltz is protected from Sabrina. This deck is probably the best or second best in the game. Definitely not overrated or it wouldn't be winning almost every tournament that it's in.

      @TLSGPokemon I saw a player using a standard koga deck but with mewtwo ex added, he played against my standard mewtwo ex deck, he basically beat me because of the venom match up, all while feeding his mewtwo on the bench, could you recreate something like that in a future video please?

      @@GreenhouseGoblin I don’t know what you mean by semi agro but 90 percent of the time gardevoir will never see the active spot even if you Sabrina because the deck will usually have 2 mewtwos the 3rd turn.
