I Saw the TV Glow went so incredibly hard. I saw a screening and the director held a Q&A after. She was so passionate about it. The music in it was amazing. Alex G blessed it. I knew someone who talked just like Justice Smith in that movie so it felt immersive/believable in that regard. Longlegs ruled as well. Some Twin Peaks references sprinkled in

LOVED I Saw the TV Glow, I had already seen Jane Schoenbrun's debut We're All Going to the World's Fair and liked it so I was excited to see their next film and by god it hit so hard (plus was filmed in areas of NJ I'm from/have been to). If I were to add a summer horror movie rec I would say The Wicker Man (1973), which is a bit predictable and heavy-handed but the vibe is cool and the soundtrack is great
