In my opinion,I dont think this time`s story is that great,it isn`t bad,but it just didnt live up on my expectation,but the story written in Skadi the corruption heart`s profile is so good that it make every money I spend on getting her is worth it The music is undoubtedly good though
@@Mrsix22 isn't skadj profile is part of the story tho? imo story isn't just about the story but how much effort they give to present it (trailer, music, cg, character design, sceneries shot, etc etc) and this one to me is just the peak. just like how i like who is real event story more than any other event before this bcs the effort they do for it, the whole event is just soooo aesthetic, duskdragon still to this day is the most harmonious piece of ost ak got, the amount of instruments they used there is more than any others, the EP make waves (or the entirety of waces as it fits more the cn name, really tho that event is just so hard to translate) got more bridge than any other ak ost, it got almost or the same amount of instruments use in duskdragon too, and ofc their literature team really do their homework there. but when you look at it the story is just Nian picking up Dusk to RI, the rest is just a massive set up. while here? they got f*cking low roar just for this event! the cinematographic on that mv is just out of this world, the moment i hear and saw that i immediately think "no gacha game will ever beat ak, i mean dude look at this setting, look at this mood!, look at this VIBES!" the feeling it brought just can't be compared to other gacha game when they just used hype japanese artist song or any other animeish theme, that mv elevated ak to the plane of existence where game like death stranding, AI somnium file, life is strange reside. and not just that, the 3d pv! that's honestly to me better than any honkai 3d animation just bcs the texture is just so good, not just some slick and smooth textures your usual 3d has, it gotta be one of the best 3d and 2d blend I've ever seen. the cg in this story too is also on par or even more than walk in the dust, the character design (which is very less animeish, especially their male npc design is always so crude in a very good way) and the whole concept of the Iberian village where there's this whale ribcage as tall as a cliff is just uhhh so good👌. the mood, the lighting and texture of each cg too is superb, it fit. but still, it was all just a set up (honestly other than main story every other event is just a set up for now, only maria nearl in which we know will see the continuations of it) and that's one hell of an effort for a set up. im sorry if this is so long or feels like bragging but i just love the vibes, setting, and feels this event and all its related content brought. long live ak
@@hermanwillem7057 the Skadi(the corruption heart) we get from banner is not the one we know in the event story,its more like another timeline of Skadi,according to character`s profile,that timeline is darker,all twisted and f*cked up(I like it) ,and also,it have more impression of a cthulhu mythos,and also,its very well written,hope you can find a translation about it In the event story,its just the old skadi we know,she wear a dancer dress just for disguise,but its still that guard skadi I also like the music、CG、Trailer very very much,I am so astonished by everything they make before this event,but the vibe of story comes out to be a lot different from what I expected,you can say that all the effort they put give me a high expectation,I expected an SS tier story writing,but I think the result(what shown in the event story)is only just B+ tier to me. but all this comment aside,I am still like this game a lot,and Skadi is definitely an operator you should get,every aspect of her is just pure greatness you dont have to feel sorry about that,I am glad that to have a discussion like this on my favourite game,I dont have friends that play ak irl,and also,allow me to apologize if my english is bad or anything I said make you feel uncomfortable

I like how with most AK bosses, their theme is a reflection of how badass they are and how desperate the protagonists are to beat them. But then you get this theme, which plays while Skadi, Gladiia, and Specter are just beating the fuck out of the Bishop.

I've listened to it backwards. ran it through pro tools to split the tracks and isolate the vocals but there's nothing. it's all sounds like kind of the same ethereal siren wail. If anything, it actually sounds like melodic Chinese that's heavily modulated to be totally incomprehensible when it's played forward. I have no idea. I'm so curious how they made this song to sound like this, I really wished they put out a video explaining it.
