I watched all your videos, thanks to you i hit plat and i'm on my way to emerald. Keep up the good work and i hope your channel blows up. Greeting from Austria
i use this comp to get easy top 2 (it's works just because no one use edm now hahaha) , but the downside is when u get contested, like any other reroll comp thanks bro for reminding me about this comp.. u earn ma sub. edit : my comp is similar to this with lux dazzler headliner, jax, zed,zac (4 edm) + bard, mf/lucian (2 jazz) + sett (2 bruiser, mosher) + ziggs (4 dazzler) + any crowddiver update : from E4 to D4 in one day haha update : in D4 4x times playing, 4x times lux contested hahaha seems like it's over
I think Lux is pretty sleeper good in this meta which favours heavy backline ap carries. I play a line similar to this. I like to find headliner Jax (Doesn't matter which) then 3* him. Ever since the EDM nerf he's heavily uncontested have him carry me through the midgame. When the enemy gets multi mega tanks then Jax tends to struggle hard. That's where lux comes in. Go to 7 then look for 3* lux to almost cap out my board. Bard + any other jazz for max damage (depending on lobbies and what you're given) Secret sauce is to switch which EDM between Lux and Jax depending on match up. Solo carry (Riven, Yone) = Jax. Meat men frontline with big blasters at the back (Ahri, Karthus,) = Lux. The real tech is that you're able use the EDM selector when you travel to their board or vice versa so you can perfectly tailor your EDM to the match up. Just hold it in your cursor and choose before combat starts Rank: D4 Help me experiment
That's a good idea to swap between their sampling based on matchups. I usually don't bother 3 starring Jax in this comp and try to go for a top 4, but if you're trying to win out, that seems quite good. I can definitely try it out if I get a game for it.
Question for good tft players. What do I do when I have committed to a comp but then someone else gets my carry / late game units and I don't find anything i plan on needing? Example. Disco. I have all the lower cost disco units and supporting units but can't find tf or blitz. Then all the sudden someone that didn't have any disco units pops out a tf and takes my comp. I could switch to karthus but there's other pentakill players already. I can't switch to melee carry like riven or yone because I have committed ap items. What do I do?
You usually have to track Econ in the lobby and send it to 8 and roll down on 3-7, 4,1 or 4-2 depending on your and the lobbies tempo since your pretty locked it on this position headliner is prob key to ur comp (blitz or tf) unless you natural ur carries 2 star or have golden neeko on bench and if you miss there’s not a lot you can do other than buy a suboptimal 4 cost chosen and hope you hit on your donkey roll in the next rounds, because with disco you really want to stabilize and go 9 full sending and hitting disco chosen units is the best way to do that. Sorry for the run on sentence but I hope this was at least semi good advice or remotely helpful.
Try to play around flexible items like Red Buff. If you slammed something like Shojin, you can still play Ezreal or Ahri. It won't be BIS but it's good enough. I think for Ahri, Shojin is actually quite good if you can get attack speed from augments or something like Hyperpop. Ahri's stats for Shojin is bad because most people are using the comp as a fallback when they can't play TF or Karthus, but I believe Ahri is actually quite good if you know how to play it optimally. After the streak changes, leveling to 8 on 4-2 is not good anymore unless you winstreaked all game or have an econ augment or econ portal. I've found more success leveling on 4-5 and playing flexibly based on which 4 cost headliner I hit.
Isn't it better to try to get some sort of sustain and itemizing your edm units better? Since the edm units will cast more? I know sustain may be moot in this comp if you can just snipe and kill everything fast enough, but i feel like a lot of close fights you had came down to not having some sort of sustain.
Yes you’re correct but I prefer to get the healing from augments, not from items. It’s also lobby dependent, sustain items would have worked better in this game, especially against the player who got an EON on their Jhin at the end. I could have taken Vampirism at 2-1 but I chose Caretaker’s just to make it easier to force. It was a tradeoff
You’re right, I hit Qiyana before 2 star Zed, which is why I itemized her. It was correct to sell her and move the items to Zed, but I was too tunnel visioned on trying to farm components. Something good to learn from in this game here.
I meant to post this video later, I think I set the schedule earlier than intended on accident. But either way, enjoy.

I don’t really play TFT but I enjoy watching it. Another great video, keep it up.
You played scuttle puddle, not crab rave. That's why the big boy didn't attack
You’re right, I played so much Crab Rave that I forgot Scuttle Puddle existed
Yooo I just made plat. Thanks for ur vids
Nice! I’m glad I could help

More people are catching on that the comp is good. It can still be challenging to execute, but it's also very rewarding to play. Gz on climbing

Agreed, even swapping Qiyana items onto Zed would've probably made a huge difference. Not itemizing your EDM units limits the comp
Electing to go jazz over 5 edm is kind of criminal especially when you only have 6 active traits
Sometimes the Jazz bonus can help you one shot their backliners. It depends
It was much better to spam items on edm units than lvl 1 qiyana, as edm much stay alive for the procs
