This is still so surreal. Toriyama's most underappreciated work getting turned into a lovingly-crafted, faithful sprawling action RPG was not something I ever would've thought would happen, but damn am I happy it did. Very much looking forward to this game.

toriyama's vehicle designs have always been phenomenal, so whoever said 'let's make a game based on all those cool vehicles' deserves a raise
I recall Toriyama Sensei actually wanted to make something that focuses on his mechanical designs. He has ALWAYS been an enthusiast of anything mechanical.
I know right? This story actually started out just because he wanted to draw the tank. Its beautiful.

Yep, it makes this game and it's focus and love given to the vehicles kinda heartwarming because vehicles and mechs were a hidden love of his that got overshadowed by Dragon Ball.
Pretty sure he mentioned his inclination towards drawing vehicles in one of his pre-chapter blurbs in his Dragon Ball/DBZ manga volumes.
If only he put that effort into his character design. Especially humanoid.

personalize vehicle, open world, cool RPG element, this game have it all !!
The village progresses as you do, house customization, customizable vehicle parts and even upgradeable, skill tree and many more features. As long as it is executed well this game is easily top tier.
Title aside, I like it. ARPG, town building and vehicle battles?

As a gundam builder an model builder in general, I love how Toriyama sensei design his vehicle. I hope Bandai would make plastic model of those in this game.

It's nice to see more good quality 3D anime games, that aren't just fighting games with anime characters.
Clicked for the artstyle. Just as I asked for Dq9 for its art style years ago. Toriyama is a master at his craft.
Never been a fan of dbz art style, with the big weird baby-men. But I like the art style of this show, and the game looks exceptional.

Initially I wrote off SAND LAND as yet another Bandai Namco anime game but after watching this overview, their is actually some depth to it. The vehicle customization options and the upgrade trees for each of the party members is cool to see! Also, I like that SAND LAND has some reused things from a very popular Toriyama manga (capsules and Lucifer/Satan looking exactly like Dabura).
It comes out 2 days before my birthday 😊 what an amazing gift. Thank you Akira Toriyama

Just saw the anime for sandland. This is one of Toriyama’s best works. Pure heart.
This trailer convinced me to buy. For whatever reason the foot combat/skill trees, the fact that you can carry your vehicles in capsules and carry 5, coupled with the room/town building I was hooked. Plus love the old school Akira Toriyama style 👌 and the borderlandsesque comic book style.
Going to buy this for sure. Last of his work.
*Fun Fact:* In one of the panels of _Sand Land,_ there is an actual PS6 that was found inside the box, alongside with _Dragon Quest 13._

This game is totally under the radar right now, it looks incredible!
Toriyama's characters in realistic landscapes isn't as jarring as you first think. There are times where they look like Paper Mario characters against a rendered model background but over all looks great.
We need an open world OG Dragon ball, with young Goku traversing the world on flying nimbus, poping senzu beans and kicking ass.
I like how this has just turned into the coolest videogame!! Can't wait

Wow, I've just started the sand land manga for the first time, and it's really fun. Im so happy it's a short and sweet series. It's a breath of fresh air for me. I'm excited for this game!

That looks so amazing and awesome. The graphics looks so good, specially in that town. We need more cell shaded games not just Borderlands. Yep, I'm buying this on PS5, this trailer sold me on the game. Oh and thats Dabura the demon king there lol. Probably Goku and Z fighters are all dead.
Edit: After Akira Toriyama's passing, this game will hit different. Now im even more excited to play it in his honor. RIP Toriyama, you will be missed.
That was never confirmed to be Dabura. In the manga he is referred to as Lucifer and he has different horns from Dabura. It might be him, or his brother, or his young self, or maybe just a reused design. Hopefully the new anime explains it.

This anime just…made me cry…it oozes Akira all the way through. The art style, the story. The touching moments. I’m grateful I got to witness a legend in his time and grew with his works❤
