Tip from a mom of 4 and whos husband traveled every other week. I walked the house at night and put everything away so i started fresh in the mornings instead of behind. It makes a huge difference.
Your pets crack me up how they all watch you and are in the middle of it all! The white dog looked like he/ she were pouting 😅! Happy New Year!

Best vacuum ever! I’m almost 60, and I’ve never had a better one. Taking down Christmas is such a process, ugh, but I love the fresh feel when it’s all done. Hoping to finish up today.
You can use some acetone to easily remove sticky residue from glass. Use the blue shop paper towels vs regular paper towels, they are more heavy duty too. 🙂

Started taking my Christmas decor down Christmas night. This was a first for me. I usually take my decor down Close to Valentine's day 😂. I just really needed a fresh start and when I'm stress I clean. I did miss it after taking it down.

i usually use method wood cleaner!! i didn’t have any in this video so i just used some countertop cleaner that i had. the method stuff is cheap & smells so good! makes it so shiny too 😊

Took it all down yesterday. So nice and minimal in here now. lol question on your floating shelves in the kitchen. Did you make them? How did you hang on when you got done with the tile?
i just bought some natural colored 24 inch ones :) my husband put them up using a masonry drill bit! meant for bricks and what not. we knew the studs in the wall would be by the outlets, so we used those as a guide to find the studs behind the wall!

Happy New Year! I start taking down the day after Christmas. This was so inspiring. I think you should repost this next December 26th😂. There isn't much out there on taking down and organizing - I looked! By the time R. Robeson posts her take-down, my stuff will be long put away! Good tip on the garland bubble wrap! I tried it different this year and put away "by room", so I don't have to reinvent the wheel next year. I'm already looking forward to November to see if it's easier to decorate. 🤞I'm curious how many boxes you ended up with when it was all put away? I have so many boxes! Thanks! (btw...your dogs were hilarious watching.)

I took down my Christmas decor on Christmas Day 😂- having kids I already have a lot of toys around that by the 3rd week of December I wanted to put everything away- I hate clutter. My 5 y/o cried so much when we put the decor away but mommy needed her sanity 😅
