Why is she lighting an already lit cigarette at the beginning?

Why is it creepy? Cause it's sexual expression and satire? Because it's silly? Creepy = sinister and threatening. This is neither.

Thumbs down for such a silly complaint. They sell DVDs of Scopitones so it's hardly surprising that they flag up their products. If you don't like that, you can not watch or buy the DVD!

I thought "I wanna hold your hand" was groundbreaking and taboo back then.... people have always been lusty sex fiends.

It's a type of film and music combination that was in juke boxes. It was a thing back in the late 50's early '60s. And because they were in night clubs and bars they could be a little bit racier than normal movies and tee vee.

Actually it was made in the early 60s. Sonny King died in 2006. So it shows the "subtle immorality and perversion of" the early 60s.

This is the crooner Johnny Favorite's song the lady on the beach sings in the movie "Angel Heart."

OMG glorious bad taste. I suppose the idea was to get people to watch the Scopitone video again and then show it to their friends for the sheer amazement at what they were watching. Think Miley!
