THANKYOU SO MUCH For the deep wisdom and help here. I got more help from this than all the self help books and therapy sessions I’ve had! May God bless you and the work of your hands!

    Faith
When you believe in another life, all life’s difficulties and hardships become obstacles in your way. Obstacles you overcome to achieve your goal.
Tests to show your Resilience, patience and persistence.
When we live for higher purpose, we don’t compare ourselves to others’ nor outlives to theirs.
Our goals are set. Suffering become an enjoyable task and permitted pleasure become spiritual act.
Life continues to be a process of purification or way of improving ourselves to be become better worshiper.

It seems wrong to deny we are in fact damaged goods before we have found coping strategies, calmness and wisdom in the storm a way out, found healing or solution.
Becoming then a building-block for something new.
What about when one is harmed in the very crisis, burnout, and broken-down devastation - hindered in both taking care of oneself as well as one can AND in creating meaning in the suffering, building a shelter!?Again and again, inconsiderate of one's state and the additional harm they inflict, as well as the nightmare of having one's warnings and expressions of threat and stress interpreted as some kind of deliberate wicked nuisance? That's when real hell is made, and real loss of personality and reality eventually happens, and the will to live or faith that here is a way to live disappears. And self-destructivity struggles with constructivity for serious, since the decades of meaningless suffering through innumerous mistreatents and withheld professional help, dentist, therapy makes one so stressed that one harms oneself out of extreme stress and despair.

I have thought about hypnotist treatment but don’t know how to start finding a good practitioner that can be trusted. Do you have any recommendations for the Covina , Claremont or nearby areas ?

Thank you for your videos, they are helpful, but could please make a video about psychosomatic symptoms after someone had an PTSD or traumatic event? Do you have experience with clients when they had somatic symptoms right after a trauma? It would be very helpful for me and I would appreciate it

I am uncomfortable with the term post-traumatic growth, because I don't want to credit the trauma. I think whatever we learn from it should be credited to us, which we could have learnt without the trauma. It's good that learning/growth happened, but let's not romanticise suffering.

In simple terms the growth happens because of client effort/character, not because of the trauma. We can never know whether the trauma was truly 'needed' for that particular growth to happen.

I've been. Meditating to not even look at the past, like a stoicism, is that bad?

If past brings emotional pain there are options to reframe it, do EMDR, tapping, memory reconsolidation. Once processed you feel free from it. Simply ignoring the past wouldn’t really help

One of the issues is that the emotional reaction that stems from a past traumatic event can resurface wherever you come across that emotion again or a situation that leads to a similar emotion. Without having healed from the original trauma, the body can automatically react or over-react to the current event because your body is simply responding to the perceived experience even though it may not be anything like the past damaging traumatic event.
