ICELAND EXPEDITION MINI SERIES - DAY 8-10 STUCK IN MUD AND SNOW AND TRICKY ROADS

Starting off in Laugafell we made our way north as 3 of the first cars this season as the road just opened that very morning. A road we are very familiar with, but was looking more beautiful than ever early on in the season.
Then headed to Mývatn for some typical tourist spots and to dip in Mývatn Nature Baths, one of our favourite commerical lagoons.
Next step was a tricky road through amazing volcanic scenery. Slow and bumpy rides where we even faced mud and snow - and did we get stuck? Yes we did! Out with the ropes to tug us ower and maxtraxx to get a better grip in the mud.
We spent 2 days in the magical Drekagil in 25 degrees and no wind. Nothing but amazing and it was time well spent as we were all a bit tired and needed some recharging. We got to explore the area arpound the campground some and played games and enjoyed good food. Until next time!
