Thanks for the update. If it responds like that on my skin it would be heaven. Lattafa Opulent Red has several types of wood, so the woodiness isn't strange. Same for the pink pepper - a top note. The earthiness could be from the Patchouli. The leather is weird... I'm thinking the Cognac turns weird on a lot of people. As for the spices: another Top is cardamom, so perhaps you're getting that one late? I've decided to get a sample, to see if it behaves on my weird skin (it's very dry, perfume eating as well. A beast like this needs still 10+ sprays from me and maybe even more in winter. And sometimes I get only 2 notes and the rest stays quiet. Makes perfume buying difficult and frustrating). #newsub
