"It is very hard for a respectable girl to secure the man her heart desires. If she does what he wants, then he stays away because he believes she would do it for everyone else. If she doesn't do it, then he thinks she is wasting his time." Fantastic quote, and very applicable to modern times.
Great idea in theory but it’s a struggle to connect the story together. You need to mark up the story in numerical order with clear title of the story.
@snowy3578 Sir, when ever you watch some video ,you will find a link of playlist of that series in video description ,go to that link and you will find all the parts in sequence ,secondly the easiest way is to go to comments section of the video you are watching ,see the first comment (it will be a pinned comment by channel WW2 Tales) ,In this comment you will find the links of all the previous parts of that series ,Kind Regards
I’m addicted to this channel but this guy is so funny and I am an American laughing about them putting some mine in an out house . The things the soldiers can come up with! Poor Americans probably we’re just getting off of the beaches in France and were so green,,meeting these young men just went from being boys to men on D-Day, and this is probably shortly after D-Day. Once the Americans had some on the job training on their side after a couple weeks or a month it was one thing because they learned really really fast there
I enjoy these for the history. The German & Japanese perspectives. Mostly I marvel at the senselessness war. The things humans eagerly do to other humans AKA The Enemy. How people can be so brainwashed by the 'politics ' while their neighbors see the danger. Sadder still Americans who don't think history repeats. Yawn "History is boring". They have no idea of the hell our soldiers went thru to bring The Reich & Japanese down. All they can do is bitch & moan about how horrible THEIR life is. The Gov't sucks. Why vote? Believe absurd conspiracy B.S. Etc Etc Frankly I am glad I'm old! Maybe I'll see the world come to their senses. I am somewhat doubtful. But hey... HAPPY NEW YEAR. :)
If so, it’s shockingly good.. but I think I agree. There are just enough blown pronunciations, mainly on words ending in …ed, that wouldn’t be done by a real speaker..
Next you’ll tell me that wasn’t Stephen Hawking reading the audio of his “Brief History of Time” Actually, the bot voices have come a long way in not much time. If it weren’t for the literal phonic pronunciation of the occasional word, I could be fooled
@MrDino1953 You hear what this and that man went through and you still unselfconsciously whine about having to endure the odd mispronounced word? Funny.
@augustuswayne9676 Sir very kind of you for your continuous support and encouragement ,We are very much obliged and grateful ❤🌹 ,we will upload the next part in half an hour

Love these; I’ve always had trouble sleeping, and these are so soothing to listen.
Can always listen to your podcasts more than once!
@chrismack5908 Very kind of you sir 🌹
Very interesting, but I don't see the source cited anywhere. What was this soldier's name and what's the name of the memoir?
Sir please check the memoirs of Helmut Horner, regards
@@WW2Tales Thanks, Cause some are questioning the authenticity calling it fiction.
@halodisciple8459 No Problem Sir , you are always most welcome to ask any questions or queries ,we are grateful to have you on our channel
Helmut Horner- " A German Odyssey : The Journal of a German Prisoner of War"
"a person from the philippines who is addicted to your storiries... just right for me, coz im so obsessed with the world war2...
@cherrielynjaninenatividad8525 thank you so much for being a part of our community, stay blessed
This is a great series, but I’ve seen suggestions that this is fiction and generated by AI. Is this true.
Australian boy in Philippines also obsessed!
@@AshleyHarding-ho4dj oh i see... 😁
@@mikz33 where are you from Miss?
What a time to have been alive...and in that situation...Fascinating stuff...WW2 was truly something that you can only imagine if you weren't there...
I noticed that Hitler did not omit Von Staufenbergs noble rank of Graff. No doubt he always thought the junkers hated him. No doubt they did.
The junkers might have hated Hitler however they obeyed him it was only when Germany was losing the war that they attempted to assassinate Hitler.
Food?...... really Food?, well DIG IN!
Metal roofs are slippery and dangerous
I have been injured twice on them

Bloody robot voice mis-reads Hitler as High Tier. Just one of its many fumbles. Really, can you not afford a human narrator?
I find reading out loud very tiring. I imagine most people would. I am sure that the cost of paying someone to do that would be prohibitive.
These Ai voices are okay but there are times that basic words get mixed up.
Next you’ll tell me that wasn’t Stephen Hawking reading the audio of his “Brief History of Time”

I actually prefer this type of narration in a monotone type dialogue.
