I just bought the Momix Pro... pretty naively, as I didn't know about the Roland. For my nomad recording and busking/out and about performing. The thing is beautiful... I mean, wow, to have reverb in a little unit like this?! It feels solid and not cheaply made, the knobs feel smooth... high hopes it will hold up well. There are so many inputs/connections I'm on YT making sense out of things :) I'll try to post back once I have a little mileage on this one.
JOYO MoMix Pro: has a very low volume and impedance, this is a bad negative point, positive the sound is defined stereo. The Roland Go Mixer Pro X: negative point, It has a very loud sound, positive point, the volume is louder with more impedance.
Hi, I have 2 questions : 1. 🎉does it work as a mixer on its own without connecting to phone? 2. Does it work as audio interface on a DAW on the phone? Like.. it could detect & control 2 channels separately?
Great questions! 1. Yes! You only need your phone if you want amps (garage band, etc) or for recording. 2. Absolutely. I first use garage band to turn on monitoring (headphone) and then amp settings. Then switched to my camera to record myself. Thanks for watching.
It doesn’t have a dedicated loopback function that I know of, but you can connect two phones (iPads) at once through the two OTG ports. So you can stream or record on one and use the other port for a DAW plus still plug in an AUX. That combo should cover the functions of the loopback.
@@alanpeterson93 That’s awesome! 🤩 Please let me know what you think once you get it. One thing I had to do when I first got mine was charge it up. The top middle port is where you plug in a USB C charger. Comment with a link here if you post something you record. Love to see what you do with it! 👍👍

Is it possible to attached a guitar effect with built in cabsim into the guitar input?
I think you could. no reason you can’t.
Will this allow for a laptop to be plugged in as well so you can play along with music while streaming?
Yes
Just wanna ask which one has a better sound quality? from your own experience, thanks 🙏
Hi! Thanks for watching. For me the JOYO had the best sound. Especially since it had reverb!
@@Rose2Thorn08 thank you so much 😇🙏💗

Does the momix has a vocal effect such as echo?
I haven't looked if the momix has echo, but i definitely know it has reverb, and that is sort of like echo. i hope this helps 😅
