Hello Ladies! It was so nice to meet you at Pick Up Every Stitch and then cross paths with you throughout the rest of the weekend. We had a great time and you made us feel very welcome. Enjoy the cards, we had lots of fun handing them out. Hope to see you again at future events ~ Kelly.
Our paths didn’t cross on Sunday so we could chat for a bit, so I was saving this episode to watch when I needed a posse fix. Kate, just had a laugh at you saying you were wrangling the boys on Saturday… yep, you were, saw it myself and shared story with Robin this past weekend. You were the momma 😂
Was nice to meet you at Wool&Folk (100% agree - s#*t show,) and at A Wooly Affair. Loved the mYak sweater trio. Can't wait to see the Lamb&Kidd Instant Crush. I live in Rhinebeck and it's always my favorite weekend. Great recap!
Great podcast. I live virtually through you for the Rhinebeck experience. I too feel horribly for the vendors at wool & folk. I have purchased from a couple of them. Camp Stitchwood has very nice things. Thanks for your feelings of that day.
It was such a pleasure to meet you lovely ladies at Pick up Every Stitch! I enjoy watching all of your beautiful knits on your podcasts. 😊 Janet from Wool and Wine
Great episode as always! So great to meet you all in person over Rhinebeck weekend - was a highlight for me for sure - (I’m Madison Monteze’s mom 😊). Am laughing at your reference to Rhinebeck as the Super Bowl - as my daughter Paige started calling it that too … and all weekend we would laugh and say it’s the knitter’s superbowl! Am putting the Field Day cardigan by Ozetta in my que. thank you for the community here and yes Rhinebeck weekend is so much about seeing all the people (community) and their hand knits (inspiration) and I enjoy seeing all the farms and their products too. Woolen Affair looked lovely - hoping those event organizers will do it again next year! Happy knitting! 🧶 ❤
We loved meeting you and your beautiful daughters as well! Rhinebeck is definitely the Super Bowl of knitting 🧶 (and the tailgate lunch on Saturday is key!😊)
Thank you all for the NYSWS weekend recap; I'll probably never be able to go in person, so I really appreciate the vicarious experience. The Instant Crush is also in my favs now, Laura! I was at a retreat with Joji last weekend, and one evening turned out to be "wear your Instant Crush" night. Such glorious colours!
Thanks for your thoughts on your experiences at Wool and Folk. I too felt overwhelmed and left almost immediately. Rhinebeck was wonderful and I am looking forward to next year and hopefully bumping into to you all again. The “posse” is always a joy!
Love hearing about your adventures at Rhinebeck. You are so fortunate to have this community around you! I listened to Michael’s review of the weekend. Your group is so uplifting!
I saw you at the end of the day on Saturday. You were so gracious when I stopped to talk, and you gave me a tape measure with your logo. That was very kind of you, since I said that I did not knit the pocket but I did download the pattern ha ha. I really appreciate you taking the time to talk for a few moments; you all looked as exhausted as I was. @DrJoyceKnits
Thx for another great podcast! All your purchases from the weekend look delicious! Thank you for distinguishing between Wool and Folk and New York Sheep and Wool. I have not been to either and wondered if they were the same. Hopefully next year there will be the necessary changes. All of your knits are so beautiful, you are all so talented. Maybe one of you would consider buying a sock winder after such a successful sock tube making weekend.
You all are so delightful! Like sunshine on a rainy day😎🌦Thank you so much for sharing your wooly adventures with us all here. It was such a pleasure to meet you at Wool & Folk (again...cue Sunshine on a Rainy Day!) You all are known *and* famous 😉Hugs!
I just stumbled across your podcast and immediately fell in love with all of you. I probably will never go to Rhinebeck so I love seeing everything about it. I want to tell you how much I admire you all for discussing the Wool&Folk issue and not salivated over every single negative detail as I have seen a multitude of people do so far. It’s like watching a dog being forced to stay still while holding a treat on their nose. (I give them a thumbs down and do not finish the cast) . Now, out of the 15 or so I’ve watched, the only one I’ve seen that has posted positively is Natalie {knitty knatty) who also briefly covered it with as much grace and elegance as you all did. It made me fill with joy so I thank you. You now have a view subscriber.
Nice recap. I've watched a number of videos that talk about the horrible situation at Wool and Folk. Considering how dangerous the situation was, I don’t understand why someone didn't notify the police or fire department about the issues. Suzanne
Yan from ForeverYarn sold me that Les Garçons yarn. She had a sample knit up of the Field sweater knit up that was absolutely beautiful. That is what I am working on now. I love the green color you chose.
Missed seeing you also.. o Lu went Sunday for a short time but it was a gorgeous day and not too crowded so all good I like the New England festival at the Big E fairgrounds better.. some rhinebeck buildings are dark and crowded and too spread out
Saw Kate shepherding Kevin and Ray through the food booths. It was my first time at Rhinebeck. I was hoping to run in to you but it was not to be. My husband was with me. We had a fantastic time. He believes that we are all a part of a cult with our own language. He’s not wrong:)
It was great to meet you ladies. We were smushed together at Wool & Folk for a few minutes. I’m from Stowe VT, and I think one of you said you have a place in VT? I enjoy your podcast and hope to meet you again sometime!
Greetings, Ladies! Fun podcast, as always. I'm wondering about a couple of Makers. What is the source for the cute, little bag that Laura bought? Also, for the larger bag that, I think, Kim acquired? Thanks for your contributions to my happy knitting life! ❣
My adorable bag is from UP Studio. Not entirely sure that was the name of the vendor booth as I never saw a print out of vendors and locations. (Laura)
I have been watching your podcast for years but tonight it was very frustrating because there were so many ads! I pay for ad free RUclips so I am not sure why it was so bad today.
Kim, I get claustrophobic in same situations like you. Especially when surrounded by taller people….I am short.
So much fun re-living the fabulous weekend through your podcast! ❤❤❤
Hi Kim, I was nice to meet you. I’m the person that said “You are much prettier in person” 😂
OMG that was hysterical! Thanks for coming up to say and for giving me a great laugh. Kim
Thanks for sharing your Rhinebeck experience !

My friends and I have been packing our lunch at wool festivals for the past few years. I call it knit-gating. There is usually wine involved.
How about “Needles 4 the Posse”? This could be a knitting retreat name!
Love it! 😊
I just finished my Eurus (wearing it while watching actually). I LOVED knitting it and love the final product!
What yarn did you use? I can't get the yarn specified in the pattern in the US? (Laura)

It was fun meeting all if you as well! I’m excited to get going on my Corran cardigan…thanks for the inspiration!

I just ordered a bag from Amy Crew Up Studio. Such a beautiful bag. Supporting the small businesses. Thanks Laura.
You all knit such lovely garments!
Thank you!!

Love your enthusiasm for Rhinebeck. Hope to get there some day!
Just love seeing your friendship ladies. Also love all of your making!❤❤

So glad you had such an amazing time! Thank you for letting me experience Rhinebeck vicariously xx
Thank you for joining us! 😉
I was so happy talking with you in one of the many lines at Wool and Folk. I was the one in the other Field Day cardigan.
Love Ozetta's patterns!

So good to meet you
💕 and you as well!
In Montana we have been in the teens/20's for highs the last 3 day and snow, but a week ago we were in the 80's.
I’d settle for somewhere in between for a while! 55° sounds good!
First time viewer! Wow I’m going to have to watch this episode again! Found you from Danish Musing’s Podcast and hit Subscribe.
Yay!! Welcome to the posse!! We are glad you found us!! 💕

We will be at the Fiber Festival of NE on Saturday.
Missed seeing you at Rhinebeck. I saw your BFF but you were not around. Glad you had a wonderful time.
Aww, sorry we missed you!
I live in Alberta Canada and we have snow.
I love snow! -Kate
What a lovely recap! It was so great to have a bit of a laugh with Kim on Saturday. Sorry to have surprised you with my height. 🤣
Mia, meeting you was a highlight of my weekend. I'd love to get together and knit sometime. I think we live pretty close to one another.
Saw Kate shepherding Kevin and Ray through the food booths. It was my first time at Rhinebeck. I was hoping to run in to you but it was not to be. My husband was with me. We had a fantastic time. He believes that we are all a part of a cult with our own language. He’s not wrong:)
Your husband is not wrong. 😉
That ks for sharing your experience. Just FYI. There was a ton of ads in this episode.
So sorry about the ads. We are looking into this. RUclips has changed their settings. Ugh.
RUclips changed it’s ad menu. I’m working on trying to fix the issue now. Thanks for sticking with us! 💕
It was great to meet you ladies. We were smushed together at Wool & Folk for a few minutes. I’m from Stowe VT, and I think one of you said you have a place in VT? I enjoy your podcast and hope to meet you again sometime!
So god meeting you. Yes I have a place in Weston vermont. I remember meeting you. Thx for watching.
Laura, what was the cashmere designer /company you referred to? Ken Rose?
Kim mentioned the brand Kinross Cashmere--gorgeous sweaters!!
Greetings, Ladies! Fun podcast, as always. I'm wondering about a couple of Makers. What is the source for the cute, little bag that Laura bought? Also, for the larger bag that, I think, Kim acquired? Thanks for your contributions to my happy knitting life! ❣

Are you also in CT? I am…
Yes we are.
Are your sock tubes enough for 2 pair???
That is a definite possibly! 🤣 I just cut in to do my first toe and that is as far as I got...wewill keep you posted!
Cant believe I didnt see you… looked for you on the hill… must have been when you were in the car eating! 😜
There’s a good chance…we like to eat! 🤣
I would have loved to watch your podcast. I gave up due to all the ads. 18 minutes in and 4 ads.
RUclips recently changed their settings. Let me see if I can fix it!
How do you store your sweaters?
I keep mine in zippered bins in m y closet. (I bought them on Amazon) -Kate
I have been watching your podcast for years but tonight it was very frustrating because there were so many ads! I pay for ad free RUclips so I am not sure why it was so bad today.
Ugh! We are not sure why this is happening. I changed one setting but will do some more research tomorrow. Sorry!! Thank you for letting us know!
I am so sorry. You tube changed something. We are trying to figure it out. That’s so frustrating especially since you pay for no ads.
