My very first putter collection and the only one I’ve kept in tact. Karsten Company to Ping with all the prized Scottsdale models, I just love them. Always fun to bring an original out to the putting green and watch the people’s reaction to the loud PING 😊
Pretty cool video. Love PING! Whenever I see someone using a S C, I say what a nice looking PING copy! Really gets some of them angry. Especially when I tell them I paid a fraction for my PING versus a S C. Screwing with peoples heads, that's what golf is all about IMHO.
I like that you let the Scotty Cameron fanboys know that Ping is The Real Boss. Especially because I've been doing the same thing my entire adult life! Instead, if you really want to make them mad, substitute the word counterfeit or forgery instead of calling it a copy. We always let them know in a friendly way of course. You keep letting them know and I will too! By the way, the only few Scotty cameron's I ever tried I disliked very much. They just didn't feel as buttery like the Ping Anser does when struck in The Sweet Spot, instead it felt the same no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face. Nothing special. They were a bit too heavy and I had distance control problems with them hitting most putts very long. I didn't care for the milled face either of course these were all newer models. No feedback, I couldn't tell one bit if I'd struck the ball off the toe or The Sweet Spot because it all felt the same.
They do make great sticks! I play hogan forged irons and ping woods and putter. They just go straight and feel and sound awesome. If they ever make a chrome forged iron I will buy those!
WHY oh WHY doesn’t Ping re-release a line of their “classic” putters, made with manganese bronze that develops a beautiful patina, along with their original grips? There are many of us who believe those classic putters … the Anser, Pal, My Day, Cushin, etc… have never been bettered. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find these putters in good condition. There would be a huge market out there for a line of Ping classic putters.

Love it. Just bought a TR 1966 Anser. No line, nice sound. Back to basics.

Still use mine, not changed my putter since 1990
My bag and its clubs are PING. There is nothing better. Just like Porsche. Its all about the P!

The anser is the #1 putter in the world, no doubt. Scotty Cameron, odyssey and 100 others have copied this same design.
was wondering why the blade style putter mostly looked the same.
