@@MzuMzu-nx1em That solo is a beast! I did a 7 minute long song before. Kreator Awakening of the Gods. After two rhythm track, retakes and solos, my arms hurt for a week. I do like the solo but I would have to go back to the woodshed.
Back then, the band tuned down a whole step. Obituary and Resurrection did it to. I think it was something that was going on in Florida. A lot of people now days tab this stuff that was but the only bands that did drop D where Van Halen and then grunge. Rats came out with a song in drop D, so the only two songs before grunge where Unchained and Lay it Down. It's easier I guess to go in drop D with a locking tremlo but if you watch some of the old videos like 24 hrs Ago, the are all D standard.
