Karavan Sarai has performed at large festivals such as Bali Spirit Festival in Indonesia, Spirit of Tengri in Kazakhstan & Lightning in a Bottle in California as well as performing art centers including Makan in Egypt & CoSM (Alex Grey) in New York. Other formats of performance include Ecstatic Dance to Sound Healing for meditation to yoga.

Narayan Sian lived on the Silk Road for over 15 total years since 1995, learning & performing music with mystics, masters & locals. He creates musical storytelling from original compositions & traditional melodies.

Amin Shahin reigns from a prestigious Ghajr (Gypsy) family of musicians from the Nile Delta in Egypt. He is a rare master of the ancient Arghoul. This intoxicating instrument may be traced back to pharaonic times as depicted on the walls of third-dynasty temples (2,500 BC).
Abd El Rahman Balalh is an awarded singer by Egyptian Radio; singing mawwal (the pinnacle of Egyptian vocal music), religious & folklore styles.
Fady Tawab was the primary drummer for Egyptian Project for 5 years & has played at many of Egypt's great venues like the Cairo Opera House.
This mystical sonic journey carries listeners to the nighttime courtyard of a virtual Silk Road palace, the Karavan Sarai that gave the project its name. We forge ahead where the tracks end, this is Deep Fusion.
