So baumi, here's a counter to this exact build, and you don't even need essence shift! *Attributes? What attributes?* -Whirling Death -Essence Aura -Witchcraft -Blink -Vacuum/Reverse Polarity -Multicast Spam Whirling Blades, and once you get 7 hits on them, their primary attribute is reduced to 0. Meaning the return build now has teensy weensy HP and deals no damage. Also makes right click builds have no AGI, meaning no attack speed and damage. And makes caster builds have little mana and mana regen.
Decrepify/Life Break/Reaper's Scythe with ags. Use decrepify and immediately use Life break, doesn't matter how much hp they have brings them down to about 10% hp, the scythe is to just finish off whats left. Decrepify and Life break combo has a 6s cd without octarine core.
Baumi I have 2 suggestions for LOD build: The first is the "bloodrage+finger" build, which is super powerful if you add multicast. The second is the "multicasting boats", which one of your crew-mates did before. Hope you can do one of these, good evening/morning/afternoon/night/bye
You can combine Razor ultimate with tinker ultimate to stack that thunder could and deal massive damage. add essence aura to not waste any mana, add the 'w' of leshrac and the healing aura thingy of with doctor ( to regen the mana by toggling the skill ) and you got yourself a living thunderbolt :P
I've actually been playing a ton of LoD recently, and I'm not sure what options you're playing with but I've had a great deal of success with dispersion + flesh heap + borrowed time + x. In an ideal world, you round it out with tidebringer, reactive armor and chemical rage, or corrosive skin as a substitute if tidebringer is banned.
Zeus passive, witchcraft, sticky napalm, and a bunch of other low cooldown spells to trigger the Zeus passive and napalm. Maybe multicast if that works with Zeus passive?
I have found some pretty cool interactions with Infernal Blade (Doom Q). If you have Marksmanship(Drow R) with aghs Infernal Blade will apply on secondary targets, applying it to up to 3 units per cooldown for ranged heroes ; otherwise the better one using Tricks of The Trade(Riki R), Infernal applies on every single hero on every single hit without using mana or cooldown, ministun and reapplied duration on the damage per second makes the burn very strong. my proposed build is == Q: Infernal Blade | W: Blink | E: Juxtapose (creates illusions on all heroes hit during ultimate) | D: Incapacitating bite (or any other attack applied slow) | F: Moon Glaives | R: Tricks of the Trade | Enjoy. :D
Is Underlord available in LoD? Cold Feet + Pit of Malice is a nice stun. Also I keep thinking Atrophy Aura + Empower + an ability that allows you to stack but not kill multiple camps (shadow poison?) would give you a lot of damage very early and allow some fast farming or ganking. Add Greevil's greed since you'll be clearing stacks and you'll farm pretty well. As for ults, coup de grace, battle trance and/or focus fire with a charged up atrophy aura would be nasty.
Dispersion is actually a super sick ability. I don't think theres really enough abilities in the game to make it work but a self-damage build would be really funny. You'd take oracles flames which you'd just cast on yourself over and over so you have to much regen to ever die whilst also rotting yourself constantly then you can just run people down with rot and also make your enemies take a bunch of extra damage from your dispersion.
Hero: Clinkz. Abilities: Take Aim, Psionic Blades, Backstab, Impetus, Morph(Agility Gain), Marksmanship. Items: Aghanim's Scepter, Dragon Lance/Hurricane Pike(you decide whether to upgrade it or not), it's up to you what to buy next. What to do: Play safe until Agh's and then Morph all your strength into agility and start sniping people with Backstab boosted-Impetus from 1610 units away. What NOT to do: Try to snipe people who have Blademail(or you will have a VERY bad time), try to fight at close range or from the front(face to face).
Have you ever tried a movement speed based build to enable massive damage on the "Greater Bash"? So something along the lines: - Thirst - Greater Bash (Duh) - Empowering Haste - Curse of Avernus ....
I have an idea for a build but its very different than your usual builds. You can call it the ultimate support and you basically combine kotl's teleport with treant's heal/damage block and omni ult (with ags) so you can global block damage and save people. Then with your last 3 abilities you can get whatever you want but if u want even more saving power get io - tether and ult, and then maybe witch doc heal.
Fountain killing -dispersion -return -corrosive skin -abbadon ult -reincarnation -np tp All you have to do is get lvl 6. TP into their fountain and stand there and let return and dispersion do its work.
Some random LoD ideas: -Everyone has to take Pudge Hook an do something with it -A round with only ultimates on every hero -More movie based stuff as theme (Pirates of the Carrabean, Star Wars, Western movies)
I though of this idea based on Morph str. I think it could be good and fun to watch. Hero: Huskar 1. Morph str. 2. Berserker blood. 3. God's Strength Or Battle trans (or both if two ultimates are allowed.) 4. Flesh heap Or adaptive strike or even Undying decay for more str and less hp on the enemies. 5. Grave Chill 6. Empower The idea is that you are gonna be super tanky With lots of dmg and attack speed and some slow.(without creating a one shot build) The dmg buffs of these build are all based on the dmg you get from your primary attribute so i think huskar is the best choice instead of phoenix. You can change Grave chill to any bash or crit but i think that could make this build to good and potentially make it into a perma bash build in the late game.

Natural Order reduces BASE armor, not armor in general. So, if he buys any items that give armor or agility, he reduces the damage from Return, which negates the whole "pure damage" concept.

So, correct me if it´s just me being stupid, but last time I checked, natural order only reduced the BASIC Armor and Magic resistance by 100%/33% so that means any bought armor or mr will be unaffected. Am I in the wrong there? Cause in the beginning of the video around 3:30 Baumi said that natural order is powerful because it makes your dmg bekome pure dmg and i was just sitting there going "Wait-wh000t?" in my chair.

Yep, and better attack point/backswing 0.3/0.3, Venge has 0.33/0.64. Its just a bit though, because without AGI there is much room for animation canceling after attack.
...and 1 less armour. :-) The thing is, you already need to get into melee range to call someone, or to kill a creepwave, so you're projectile is only good to lasthit a fleeing hero, else an instant, not disjointable attack would be better.

You need: dispersion bristle back burrow Ball Lightning (to get in the fountain) teleport (to get near the fountain) When you have bristle back , disperion and burrow maxed out you have 102% dmg resitance so you can not die. The cool thing about this build is, that it is a one Shot build ;)
that isn't at all necessary... get Decreptify + Rearm . You can stay inside that fountain until you get tired. You just need something to get you out of there, like TP Boots, Blink, etc.
Why? If they build rightclick, the Return isn't higher, only Blademail damage, which is also lowered by the Armor they have (casters don't). And with Essence Shift they steal stats and damage, while having lifesteal to maintain, so it would be better.
Unless they go for 1 shot, they will get both attack speed and damage. Attack speed means Return triggers more. Plus if they get armor through agility, Natural Order will cancel that. Imagine Return with 200+ Str against Focus Fire and Overpower builds. Still that would require field testing to know for sure and as always there are ways to counter it, like Essence Shift you mentioned. The question is: Can you tank yourself?
how bout a radiance farming build? Presence if the dark lord Greevils Greed Wraithfire Blast Heartstopper Aura Chemical Rage Ressurection or Acid Spray On a hero that could use the farm.(maybe juggernaut)
how about a global kill build like zeus ult+ natures ult+ spec ult maybe with natural order and thirst. you use spectre ult and reduse armor than zeus and natures ult.

Usually people pick essense shift / ursa passive to counter megatank builds. Kraken shell deals with those nicely.

You should have bought a manta as the illusions make use of the return, just a tip if you decide to do the same thing next time.

Oh yes, forgot about Natural Order. Its hard, but if you can activate Unholy Rage before, then you can handle yourself. ;-)
