Building a remarkable onboarding experience for new employees, using Office 365 tools

- It's a familiar scenario: You just started a new job in a company, and you can't find your way around. You need to find information, documents, people, buildings, maps, etc.
Office 365 offers us the ideal conditions to build our own onboarding process according to our company's needs. And here, one of the biggest challenges is to figure out what does the onboarding process looks like? What information and tasks does a new employee actually need? And what tools do you have to implement the process?
This presentation gives an overview and recommendations on building an onboarding process with out-of-the-box Office 365 tools. SharePoint, PowerAutomate, or Forms are just a few applications that can fulfill the onboarding process requirements.
After this presentation, you will:
- have an idea of how to build your own onboarding process in Office 365
- know how easy you can automate simple processes

Hi Corinna, thank you for sharing this. I'm in the process of revamping our internal onboarding and this was great! Would it be possible for you to go through the specifics for setting up the automation piece in Power Automate? My attempts to recreate have been unsuccessful.
Hi Corinna, thank you for the video. In my workplace, a new employee needs to be first set up in Active Directory, be given an office 365 account in order to get an email address. In your case you requested to enter your new employee email address before setting him up in Active Directory... Could explain how did you do that? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this. It is certainly an interesting way to do onboarding. I have a question, as a newbie, how did you get the grouping and count to show eg: Task Phase 1 has two tasks beneath it before being separated by Task Phase 2.
