This is a life saver. I’m in 12th grade and in precalculus with a very fast-going teacher. We’re starting out Intro to Trig a week ago, I was out sick for that whole week and couldn’t contain any info on how to do it. I come back a week later, it’s Thursday now, and I’m guessing we’re having a test pretty soon, especially since midterms are in a week as well. Long story short this video has saved my ass. Usually, people look crazy when they write in all caps, so please bear with me. THIS WAS THE SINGLE BEST EXPLANATION OF THE UNIT CIRCLE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN! I have gone to a lot of trouble to learn how to do this, but always get tripped up on the radians. The way this girl broke it down made it all come together. I have seen people go a whole semester and not know how to do this, but she kilt (not killed) this in minutes! SHE KILT IT! And did you catch it at the end when she said this was her FIRST video? For the love of God, please do something for the rest of calculus and trig! Sorry to be greedy, but it's your own fault for being so good.

Great job, pattern recognition is everything in math.
Couple this technique with the "Left Hand Trick" and students should never get a problem wrong.
The mnemonic for the 4th quadrant radians is a good one; 5 days during the week I go to 7 - 11.
I will never forget this. The only thing I would have added is that the
X -Y is also the Cosine, and Sine. 😆

For radians... in the last quadrant... Just as you subtracted 1 from the denominator and multiplied it by pi in the second quadrant, and added 1 to the denominator and multiplied it by pi in the third quadrant, in the final quadrant, you take the denominator x 2 - 1. Multiply by 2 and subtract by 1. 3 x 2 = 6 - 1 = 5 x pi = 5pi.

It is! I was getting tingles on the top of my head, not right away, but once she moved her cup (or whatever it was) over, and after that point, her voice would tingle me. Also in some unrelated lecture videos when the teachers write on the whiteboard, that triggers me.

4:19 We learned a mnemonic "All Students Take Calculus" (or "Classes"), where A, S, T, and C go counterclockwise from the first quadrant. A = All are positive. S = Sine is positive (so cosine is negative). T = Tangent is positive, so both cosine and sine are positive. C = Cosine, so finally in the fourth quadrant, sine has the negative symbol.
