@@s.kieyyyy923 nah mate, if there's a will there's a way. If you REALLY want to learn you will be able to speak norwegian in no time. That being said having some norwegian friend is probably the fastest way to do so. Watch some norwegian news and TV shows, duolingo helps but you have to do other stuff aswell, listen to norwegian songs, put yourself in a position that YOU need the language you'll learn in no time. Cheers......
@@s.kieyyyy923 Use tv.nrk.no to check Norwegian TV, much of it is not geoblocked. Many people across the world have really loved the series Skam. Listen to various music in Norwegian. Remember that Norwegian is a language of dialects, more so than English, so people's speech will not map directly to the written language. Music can be a good point of entry, because if you can find the lyrics written down they are sometimes written in dialect. Aurora speaks the Bergen dialect. You can check Silja Sol's songs, they are sung in Bergensk (as we call it). Furthermore, I recommend Bendik, Vilde Tuv and Alibiet who all also sing in this dialect. I speak it myself, so I am partial :-) Outside of this, you may find the first album by Kari Rueslåtten, called Spindelsinn, very enjoyable, it is written in standardized Bokmål and sung with a fairly conventional Eastern accent (although she is from Trondheim). There was a literal English translation of the lyrics floating around the internet, so you may find that if you search.

So much of Aurora's music seems language optional. Sure, lyrics can be important, but Aurora pores such beauty into her voice that mere words seem superfluous.

I am norwegian, so this is the english translation to the song:
Look the storm calms down now
You stand up, my friend
And you know right away where you want to go
And the road is easy again
Because the star is shining bright
Helping you to find the way home to me
The star shines bright
Helping you to find the way home to me
Helping you to find the way home to me
When the world is too big
And the path is too steep
Can you look north
Even in the dark night
Where the star shines bright
Helping you to find the way home to me
Where the star shines bright
Helping you to find the way home to me
Helping you to find the way home to me
You can travel how far you want
You can choose your own path
Trough forest, over the sea and mountains
The star shines bright for you
The storm calms down now
You stand up, my friend
You will always find your way home
The way that is in you
Thank you so much😭

I wish we have more Aurora in her native language. 😢So precious.
we all know Aurora is amazing, but the backup singer. The range! wow amazing! And the two together sound so good!
Yeah she's fantastic. It's a loss she left the band, but she had her own path to follow
@@marknikil good for here! She sounds like an amazing singer so i wish here the best of luck.
What is the me of the backup singer?
@@whodis6402 According to Mr google here name is Silja Sol Dyngeland
@@marknikil Thank you for this video. Do you know if this was Silja's last public performance with Aurora?
That language is pretty cool. Aurora managed to charm me again with her song.

Se stormen stilner nå
Du reiser deg opp, min venn
Og du vet med ett hvor du vil gå
Og veien er lett igjen
For stjerna lyser klar
Hjelper deg å finne veien hjem til meg
Stjerna lyser klar
Hjelper deg å finne veien hjem til meg
Hjelper deg å finne veien hjem til meg
Når verden er for stor
Og stien er alt for bratt
Kan du vende blikket mot Nord
Selv i denne mørke natt
Der stjerna lyser klar
Hjelper deg å finne veien hjem til meg
Der stjerna lyser klar
Hjelper deg å finne veien hjem til meg
Hjelper deg å finne veien hjem til meg
Du kan reise så langt du vil
Du kan velge en egen vei
Gjennom skog, over hav og fjell
Skinner stjerna klart for deg
Stormen stilner nå
Du reiser deg opp, min venn
Du vil alltid finne veien hjem
Den veien som finns i deg
Beautiful harmonising

Perfection.
it is sooooo sad that Silja left her...she is sadly missed these days...maybe one day....
@Bulle thank you for post
Looks like this time she was forced to put on shoes. Or the floor was too cold.
Appearntly she just broke her little toe!
