I think the Triglavian are not Jove at all but a completely new race or one of the three Cosmos races, Talocan, Ying, etc. (hey maybe all three has in Tri=3). The reason I think this is because the Drifters are fighting them. If they were Jove like the Sleepers they wouldn't. The Jove must have had some enemies/rivals when they were in building their Empire and even during their Empire since no Empire can truly conquer everything. I think this might be and old rival that went into hiding and now the Drifters have found them. Maybe they created the wasting disease of the Jove has a bio-weapon.
I believe the trigs and talocan may be related (although not necessarily the same) .. and are a branch of Jove that headed into abyssal space before the Jovian disease manifest itself (the Trigs don't appear to have it). Trigs *HATE* AI . which is why they don't like the Drifters, or rogue drones .. or Sanshas.
I wonder if the new Triglavian race is a splinter faction of the Enheduanni? I assumed that drifters may be interested in the soft tissue / cadaver as it may be more suitable genetically if they are Jove related.. but the 'multiplasmid' tech also seems to be a driving force, that's why we will venture there. If its a new race altogether.. would be cool if they were reptilian.. just because..

basically, given these theories, #1 would explain aggression towards Drifers, #2 would explain the new space.
Question: What if the TriGlavians were the ones behind Caroline star, and the drifters are a sleeper, second empire jove, and directorate jove answer to their attack?

That's a good question. You're no doubt referring to parts of the keynote and other presentations that discussed the Triglavian Collective using Rogue drones (not in a consensual way).
