Today I am taking you to a beautiful journey from Lachen to Lachung and also to Pristine and picturesque Lachung.
Lachung - Lachung is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of North Sikkim. It means 'small pass' and is located at an elevation of 8,610 ft above sea level. Surrounded by towering mountains and dotted with charming wooden houses, this quaint village offers serene escape from the hustle bustle of city life. During winters, Lachung transforms into a winter wonderland, covered in thick blanket of snow. The breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, frozen waterfalls and icy streams make it a paradise for snow enthusiasts and photographers.
Bhimnala falls - At a distance of 13 kms from Lachung, Bhim Nala Falls is a gorgeous waterfall situated Khedum village near Lachung. This is one of the tallest waterfalls in Sikkim and due to its height it is also called Amitabh Bachchan Falls.
