I quit smoking about your age, took about 18 months. Gum. Nicotine gum then swap to menthol gum. Didn't have vapes etc back then but can't imagine having tried without gum. You're gonna go far Judy!
this video is genuinely art, possibly your most entertaining and relatable video yet. u mentioned thinking the whole video idea sucked, so im here to say I was absolutely captivated for every second and was sad when the video ended, 11/10 experiment
I quit that like 10 years ago this April but still on the nic but just got patches and lower nic pouches to taper from the vape. Hopefully you got this as even the tars cut with a bit of fetty these days, which is no bueno.
I’ve been trying off and on for about a year now to quit, and my man, I don’t know what the fuck about these vapes is so different, but FUCK are they hard to quit. Absolutely insane to me that you would get intentionally hooked, just to try and quit while writing a song for a video 😂 Watching someone go through withdrawal in real time, though, relatable as hell. The “I feel tired but also wired” shit is so true. Brain fog and anxiety due to the withdrawals.
The way nicotine fools you is by convincing your brain that your endeavors without it are somehow easier or different than your endeavors with it. Nicotine withdrawal will tell you that if you had nicotine, your writing session would have gone better, when in reality, it would have happened exactly the same, with or without it.
Very surprisingly this sounds like a really good simulator of ADHD. Am I condoning trying to get addicted to nic and quit to feel what ADHD feels like? No, not at all. But him describing it is scarily accurate to how I feel almost every day. (I have not been officially diagnosed but I have a family history and like 90% of all symptoms of inattentive ADHD)
i quit heroin, and all hard drugs and alcohol over 3 years ago.. quiting substances is one of the smartest things ever one could do... if it comes from the earth your alright in moderation only. after a decade of death defying crazy ass experiences there comes a time when one prefers to not go out to parties.. then you move on
Remember kids. Don’t expect to be able to play these rifffs forever. There comes a point when you have to warm up first to play your own stuff………happy Sabbath if it’s sundown where you are. Edit: Btw this riff sounds like Riverdance.
lol I commented on your zyns in the video last week; also addicted to the nicotine and have taken multiple breaks to scale down. It sucks lol, but you want it so bad so I understand completely.
You should listen to that Septicflesh album I got you to play on yhat one stream I was in. For some reason it helped me immensely in the emotions I tried to get out of my brain
The song sounds like overcoming adversity man. Maybe your pursuit of something more then your desires was fucking hard, and it came out in your playing.
do this with porn addiction next
He would lose all musical ability.
Melody only comes when you do.
This is what im doing. Can't explain how much i despise this addiction
@@gutbucket6184 LMAO
@DaDuckfr_____ you got this man i believe in you. remember to stay active doing something and that goes for any addiction.
@DaDuckfr_____ im sure you are doing a good job at it man, keep up the good work!
"I'm going to put this in a geocache" was way funnier than it needed to be
I had to google what that was and I’m gonna be honest laughing at the results of a google search makes me feel stupid
@@gutbucket6184 Dude it's lowkey fun

BRUH

in general, mouth stimulation can be clutch when you're struggling
Next video: Trying to write a song while quitting coke
I mean...He could just switch to Pepsi.
He can quit whenever he wants. He just doesnt intend to do so.

Keep up these videos, you’re a chill kind of funny I don’t see on RUclips anymore, and I love it.

Would you ever do a video on how you program stuff in garageband? Your final mixes always sound so incredible
He's using Logic but still good idea
make a song using the vape as a slide
HELL YEAH!!! being a badass AND not smoking is gonna put you on a even higher level
Currently vaping while watching this
I second that
tbh this kinda inspires me to quit vaping. I feel like documenting it the way you did could actually work, I fucking cant otherwise
You really should, man!
I’ve been trying off and on for about a year now to quit, and my man, I don’t know what the fuck about these vapes is so different, but FUCK are they hard to quit. Absolutely insane to me that you would get intentionally hooked, just to try and quit while writing a song for a video 😂

Next challenge is to give yourself thumb arthritis then try to write a song. That’s been my life for the last 3 years.
whistlindiesel but guitar
That feeling you felt for the first couple days after you quit is what I feel all the time when trying to write stuff… I need help lol
That apreggio at the end is so solid tho
I was a full blown addict for a lot of my life and it's the craziest thing. When I got sober I got better.
Honestly Fascinating. Might have to try fighting a coupla these addictions in a similar challenge / experiment kind of way
transitioning from vaping and nicotine to diabetes and sugar addiction.
1:15 a callback to a classic
Thank you, Uncle Judy
what an amazing guy
Moral of the story: don’t get addicted
great vid dude glad to find your channel!!
"let me take that tom out" is the story of my life when it comes to programming drums
Judy going above and beyond for us mad respect 😂
Get addicted for 10 years this time 😂

You've inspired me, Judes
As someone who quit smoking for two years…
All of this is absolutely accurate.
This man making himself addicted while i think about stopping
I see that duster on the desk Judester!!!
I had a friend who started smoking cigarettes just so that he could try to quit a year later... I'll never forget that shit
Such a good video, I already watched it twice
0:33 that part was just for me 🤣🤣
Hell yeah Uncle Judy
I am watching Judy writing a song while he quits vaping while i study for exams, nice
Another masterpiece 🥂

1:57 bro that scared the hell out of me. My smoke detectors in my building are the exact same ones FUCK 😂💀
what do mean
This video is how i am except im not addicted to any or going through withdrawls of any kind
Reminds me of some Swancore type shit, early Thank You Scientist vibes
I don’t even wanna play guitar when I’m withdrawling
Why tf did my boyfriend just send this me amongst my first few weeks of quitting
HE HAS A CAR
12:30 is just Avenge Seven Fold
Thanks man, life sucks, your videos help.
u literally ruined that water
Great video, very scientific

Song on ketamine now
I think people have wildly different definitions of “a full blown addict” lmao
0:39 hey leave me alone
Dayum Judd, you think it's lazy but i thought that was pretty good. I did notice the solo thing myself
That was pretty inspiring. I'd like to stop vaping also. And play more guitar. Are you still clean ?
Remember kids. Don’t expect to be able to play these rifffs forever. There comes a point when you have to warm up first to play your own stuff………happy Sabbath if it’s sundown where you are.

I really want to quit but just don’t know how to put myself up to the test
Bro you without nicotine sounds like me on nicotine
Best anti vaping add I’ve seen!
Vulgar display of powerrrrr
Hes talking to me😭🙏🚬
This is a very niche reference, but it reminds me a lot of 'Not Ready to Die' by Avenged Sevenfold. Especially the solo.
i believe in u judy
felt very personal when bro said "just like you" :/
lol I commented on your zyns in the video last week; also addicted to the nicotine and have taken multiple breaks to scale down. It sucks lol, but you want it so bad so I understand completely.
Tell you what. I'm not gonna vape or pop a zyn through this entire video in solidarity.
I didn't make it.
this gave me sm help for quitting lmao wish me luck

1:48 Too late
I thought it sounded like a tool song then he said it😂
I fucking love hell let loose and zyn
More thought experiments next writing on THC, shrooms, and copious amounts of caffeine
this might motivate me to quit vaping
Do this with a gambling addiction, please!
I wonder what role he plays in hell let loose
nic does speed up your metabolism btw
The song sounds like overcoming adversity man. Maybe your pursuit of something more then your desires was fucking hard, and it came out in your playing.
watching this video has encouraged me to buy a new vape
Uncle Tooly
I'm going to show this video to my kid every day until they are 17 so they know not to start vaping.
i wonder why this channel has no sponsors
His content is chaotic most brand dont want someone like that to represent and sell their product
Fent next?
