I really dig this series of games, it's so good! The Demo was great,but the graphics felt like it was downgraded just to fit on Switch and cut the development cost! it looks so similar in quality to the VC on PS3 but still look good! when it's coming to PAL region?!
So then it's good then right? Because looking in similar in quality to VC1 is great Imo. You have to also remember the canvas engine isn't cheap to use and the first game on ps3 didn't sell. Nothing wrong with playing it careful.
I wonder whether the classes represented on the training screen are all we get. While I can somewhat understand trimming the fat from 2 and 3´s multitude of questionable classes I would rather have them made viable and unique instead of just throwing them out =/
Pls dont make the game to get A rank from "finished mission as soon as possible" only. inlude other element too, like total enemies killed, total damaged etc.

The game actually looks much better. Might be difficult to see the visual upgrade from a compressed YT, but it's very noticable. I just replayed VC on the PS4 (remaster) and the JP demo of VC4 and you can tell it's a noticable upgrade. Also, since the game uses a more stylized look, visual fidelity isn't as noticable overall. This is however a positive in my book since the games will age better than a game going for realistic visuals which become very dated very quickly in just a couple of years.
The Blitz system (gameplay) has been the same in all of the main games with some add ons on each sequel (like the VC 3 SP points for Riela, Kurt and Imca). I beleive VC 4 will add artillery support and some other stuff like the Grenadier class.
It looks good. They were never going to give it a AAA budget. I'm happy to settle for mid-tier, but I wish they'd get rid of the visual-novel-esqe scenes, and fully render every scene. That alone would be a massive improvement.

Brandon Zannino the first one had them as well, Jann and largo were anime tropes. I mean all the characters are a part of an anime trope. It's only a problem when that's all yo their character's.
Chuuni Chewer uhh, not liking a character design is literally judging a book by it's cover and I'm entitled to how I feel. Alicia and Welkin were a lot more realistic.
Brandon Zannino You concentrated on them scary "anime tropes." Look back on what you post. Besides, there was nothing realistic about Welkin or Alicia's designs. All those belts, ribbons and bows, they would've been tangled and tripped and proceed to get shot. It's the helmeted grunts that are the closest to "realistic." Either way, it doesn't matter because always comparing fantasy to reality is completely idiotic. Especially in a game that has magical witches running around wrecking havoc while looking sexy.

評価は色々だけどほんとこのゲーム好きだよ
兵科毎に強くなるのもいいけど、3みたいにユニット毎の育成もしてみたいな。そうしたら、ユニット毎の差別化がポテンシャルだけじゃなくなるし

Welp I was fully intending on getting this on PS4, but if there is a Switch Version coming out. I'd way rather be able to play it on the Go!

They tried to do that in Azure Revolution and it didn´t turn well, in my opinion leaving only important scenes on full render is better.
