Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Sonia campbell

I went to make a transaction for $300. It’s now four I think five days in actually and the transaction has not been completed because the processing of the fee was too low now I have to wait probably another five to maybe 10 days for the transaction to be dropped before I get my money back, so this is all bullshit instant payment instant transactions is all bullshit

The key thing this man said was that the first phase of tokenization was the tokenization of crypto tokens and the next stage would be financial assets. This maybe why crypto is such a big topic amongst election candidates to give this one final boost for adoption hence why memes are so popular. The next cycle may look real different from this one .

Looking at his belly circumference, one might think he attends a barbecue party every day.
I'm hearing some poop here (not from the host). The problem regarding a secure ownership of assets is not the medium (paper ledger, block chain ledger) but the laws regarding the medium. Does anyone really believe large institutions will not push legislation giving them the same right to claim ownership of goods that already exist?
Or rights to goods that are publicly shared like air.
All great while you have a mobile, computer and stable power grid but, should the unthinkable happen, you end up in war; the power grid becomes the first target for disablement of your opponent, you can’t eat a dead mobile phone….sometimes a bit of this and a bit of that is the best option.
Dont focus on the asset ownership if you dont believe in it. The real opportunity is value + message transfer in an instant. Everything will be on a blockchain just like everything is on a database. Same goes for cloud computing. Like it or not you are using it everywhere.

First segment of ‘losers’ are the notaries. They ‘authenticicate (?) verify’ all types of info. That function will be taken over by the smart CONTRACT.
I'll stick with cash as long as I can. I don't need everyone knowing how I spend money. There will be no transaction system that the most powerful and rich will not have control of.
So, you don't have ANY loyalty cards, use social media, bank acc., utilities-like electricity & gas; smart meter, on your property, wifi anywhere? My point is, ALL of these ARE ALREADY controlled; & have a ledger of your life.
I DO understand, & also use cash, where feasible. But for the reason to try & delay CBDCs as long as possible.

One thing I heard elsewhere was that blockchain was not very fluid, it was difficult to write in clauses, perhaps, description, etc. kind of clunky. Is this accurate? I hear once something is entered into it, it's a done deal, a contract. He did say it can be updated---thats good. Is the language legal jargon?

I actually think information on my real estate ownership and other assets should not be publicly accessed.
It already is though(assuming you live in the US), it’s just stored on your city governments website along with website databases that look through public records
Same in Australia anyone can do a land data search.
Everything in existence has a duality of being used for good or bad (evil). I think the propensity of this technology being used for a lot of bad (evil) is quite high.

Ownership and secrecy of the Private Key become a big issue. The general public aren't used to that.
25:20 Is a good point about people having too many choices. The more data that surfaced the more decisions have to be made. The average shareholders for example doesn't bother voting on board proposals. So now we're back to individuals having to trust institutions to make decisions on their behalf.

I've tried hard to understand crypto over the last couple of years and I'm still clueless. I don't know how other older folk are going to get along. I'm considering life without money because any previous problems with electronic banking have only been resolved by asking my neighbours...the banks are not willing to explain.
So basically more moving toward digital id, digital transactions, etc etc... all i here is CONTROL
You can still have physical ownership of things, all the blockchain does is have you own online data or prove to others your physical ownership of something, rather than it being stored in a company database that they control.
All this does is remove us one more step further away from the private ownership of assets and the real-life mechanisms that secure that ownership. Private property is the foundation of all freedoms.
Control over your assets yes. Unlike now where corporations and banks own you.
Blinded by the light:
Corruption in transactions on paper will suddenly disappear under block chain?
Easily argued his system (blockchain) can be corrupted anonymously and cannot be traced. Similar to the on demand supply chain, (there could never be a problem not having a backup system to warehouse needed parts during a surge demand or production failures) now considered a proven failure in the name of too lazy to work on detailed planning.
This is a rush to change a paper system designed to slow transactions down to attempt to reduce theft and corruption (it’s whole purpose). Worried about missing a day of interest in the name of less time to review is a faster failure. Faster is only better for the thief.
I suggest before you marry, sleep with the technology and observe it in the morning for a while. One day you may find out you woke up to Frankenstein.
Sorry to say that although the on chain idea is good in principle its no use in a power cut or an EMP. PS Carbon should never be used as a taxation tool without scientific representation. In the meantime the Brics are coming up with another system.
in truth all economies need the electrical grid for it to work because at some point all cummodities would run out with no way of bringing more to a market and all currency then at that point becomes useless . Sergey is giving as good an explanation as I've heard. ETH will be the platform on which everything will be tokenized. Chainlink is a critical L2 function in that process.

ETH has some DeFi advantage for now. But no way will it be used for Institutional grade. ETH is impossible for Data siphoning, storing etc. Its too slow, too costly and 100% under legal scrutiny vua Steve Nareyoff case + Security issue(s). On top of thst ETH is a XRPL knock-off that couldnt hack its layer-1. Avalanche, Cosmos, XRPL, Steller, CSPR are more suitable and in the works
