[1000 sub sp.] Caltrain Morning Rush Hour Cab Ride on train

Filmed February 16, 2024. Caltrain #403 was cancelled, so our train #303 made all stops except College Park, Hayward Park, Broadway and Bayshore. This meant that the train was considered train #303/#403. This is my special for reaching 1,000 subscribers, although at the time of filming, I only have 988. The train left Blossom Hill at 7:07AM instead of the scheduled time of 6:59AM.

I’m planning a trip out there in July and how often do they run the EMU test trains? Is it pretty much every evening the entire route? When are they officially supposed to start all electric service?

September. Every night they have sparse tests, and weekends you’re bound to see a few.

No. Our train was a combination of two different express stopping patter, so we made most stops. This was a special occasion.

Gilroy is far away. I had to take this train anyway so why not film it? I’m going to do Gilroy in the summer when it’s lighter so it’s a better video.
