I don't really care for shows like the competition singing /etc but one of the reasons I don't watch them is because I'm afraid to see singers/actors that I like act so mean/childish, it will affect me listening/watching them. I know that's stupid, I appreciate humour and being able to laugh at one's self.... But years ago I watched that show with that guy that is such a jack@ss on it and it was just disgusted me so I turned it off and have avoided such things.
