I have a diagnosed acute anxiety disorder but I also have what people call a "work mode" where I'm like, super honed in on doing my job well if that makes sense? And for a lot of people with anxiety a job that requires you to be level-headed can actually be super helpful :)

when I was younger, probably about 2, I had an imaginary friend that I had completely forgotten about until my parents told me years later. My imaginary friend’s name was Shannon, and a year or so before I met Shannon a family friend of my parents had a young daughter who died. Her name was also Shannon. they told me I would talk to empty spaces & play with someone who they couldn’t see, calling her Shannon, all while I had no idea that there had been a Shannon before I met mine.

I used to work for Enterprise Rent a Car. The dress style was very business. I want to call it business casual but guys had to wear ties. Girls wore dress pants, dress shirts, dress skirts, etc. So no one would ever have shown up in all black. Also, before we picked someone up, we usually told the person who to expect and gave them some kind of description- either of the car we’d be arriving in, whether we’re male or female, etc. If we were too busy, that didn’t always happen but we would always have a contact number for the person we’d be getting. We’d have their cell number, office number, etc. and call them when we were approaching. Very rarely did my branch do residential pick ups (just not many requests for them) but they did occasionally happen. Obviously, that was very clearly a sketchball in the story told in this mix and not anyone that worked for Enterprise, but I just wanted to shed some light on ways to potentially identify if it’s a legit employee. Also, if we were ever in an incorrect location, we’d leave. We’d never pressure someone and definitely never ask to come in.

Coming from Russia, the rule you never break and that's taught since childhood is never go into the woods past sunset or before sunrise, and always go in pairs or more. Never go alone. Also, if it's too quiet, that's not good, and always trust your gut.
Out of all the stories I’ve heard on this channel the one about the woman Tracy and her kid creeped me out the most. The fact that something inside of a human can switch like that in the matter of hours or minutes without any warning sign is just terrifying. The part with Tracy biting off her child’s ear especially gave me chills.
Is scared of this “older guy” and is creeped out by him. Wants him to leave her alone yet has sex with him, kisses him in the elevator, tells him she’s THINK ABOUT MARRYING HIM, and then gives him a kiss at her house while he thinks she’s pregnant with his baby. Doesn’t even tell him no leave me alone this isn’t your baby. That’s more than being naive that’s just leading someone on

I'll be honest, the jinn stories scare me the most because I believe in jinn. The stories in the woods creep me out too, because jinn and crazy people both like to hang out in the woods.
Listening to the first story hurt. You have a working car, your equipment has been damaged by knives, people messing with you at night, tires slashed, you have no cell service, so you decide to prioritize packing the camping gear in the trunk and abandon three people to hike back? Just going to assume the story is fake, but regardless, you can buy more stuff!! Unload the trunk, have two people sit back there and have another person sit on someone else's lap or double up a single car seat and just Drive. Away.
I like to imagine that all these stories are from one person that had the most eventful life ever

The only issue I have is with the story 18-year-old who was date raped, sexually assaulted repeatedly, and stalked. It just felt extremely tone-deaf and cringe-inducing, as if written by someone who though that was how a teenage girl would act in those situations.
The character's reactions to being date raped, being regularly molested, and stalked were "Wow, this is creepy, but what can you do?" The addition of the line of the character not wanting to talk about it for fear of being thought a slut comes off as completely disingenuous. If it had just been the date rape, okay, maybe. All the rest? The assault in the elevator? The groping? None of that is on her, or initiated by her. Why would people think she was a slut for being attacked in the elevator?
That story was sketchy to me haha who the hell is so casual about that experience. She had no mental break down, or telling bf or anything. Sounds like crappy fiction.
I agree, it sounds weird. However, many times victims of abuse internalize everything & blame themselves. Often, they don't tell & abuse continues. It's like abusers just know & that makes it harder for someone who obviously suffers trauma & most likely depression to understand it's not their fault. It's like they know it's not in their head but there's the doubt because they are a continued victim, not only victimized by other abuse but from initial abuse by never dealing with it properly
While i agree with everything you have said about abusers internalizing their trauma, this character does not sound like someone internalizing anything. There's no self-recrimination or blame. She speaks in a manner of curiosity and thinking its strange. Its not the voice or actions of a victim, at least in my reading of it. It is the voice of a writer that honestly has no idea of what they are speaking of, and not in the mind of the character at all.
The protagonist is an unwitting narrator, a set of arbitrary details such as age, gender, and so-on, to move the writer's story forward, with no real personality or characterization past her function of moving the narrative. No real thought of the implications of said narrative appears in the writing. Like I said, it feels very much like someone writing what they think an 18-year-old girl would sound like, without ever considering such very fine details you have laid out, which could have been turned up with only the barest of research into the subject matter.
Thank you. Sadly if you read through these comments, many people blamed her and said she led him on or actually cheated on her boyfriend, but cried rape because she didn’t want to be the bad guy. It’s disgusting and infuriating. Thank you for being one of the good guys.
If you can’t work out that she consensually had sex, I plead you to stay out of any court room.

Love the long ones......Might be an unpopular opinion but the story around the 1 hour mark about the older guy at work that’s a creep, am I the only person that thinks the girl telling the story is as much to blame as the creepy old guy? She is hiding things from her husband and never tells the creep to leave her alone. Instead she plays nice, even kissing the guy all because she doesn’t want her husband to find out she has been keeping a secret/lying to him for years. I guess people that play the “victim” really annoy me.

In story one They said they were in the woods with “no electronics” but at 2:50 she “checked my phone, Lynn had brought a charger” ....etc.etc.etc.and all throughout the rest of the story she referred to cell service! I love the stories though. Stay consistent!
