Two years in, I'm still struggling to get profitable, but it's showing promise. Just started another Google campaign because I had my best month the last time I ran one, though no conversions showed...I must not have that set up right. Anyway, Persistence is my middle name! PS. I'm originally from Worcester, just up the road. :)
After 2 years you are still struggling to be profitable? What kind of offers or business are you into, if you don't mind my asking? And did you look at all the elements that take the viewer from your ad to your offer: funnel, headline, landing page, offer, copy-writing and such? Being persistent is great, but it helps if you kind of break down what could be the issue regarding conversions (in my opinion, of course).

No problem :) When you have more optimisation events - which you always will do when you optimise for clicks, that can help the campaign optimise initially.

Shopping ads will do the trick for you as running search ads for every product will be hectic task to do. In shopping ads you can integrate Google merchant center for your every product and it will dynamically use it. So, I would recommend you should use shopping ads

If you have call from ads and book an appointment on your website set as your goals, when you get to: 'select the ways you would to reach your goal' should you not check both website visits and phone calls?
My Google Search Ad is on the "Review" step and any time it is here it says "checking for errors." When I check back the next day, it typically erases everything I do and does not save the draft properly. My Headlines missing, descriptions missing, settings gone, everything erased. Why doesn't it auto save??? It says "saving draft" and the circle spins forever. And when I come back the next day it did not in fact save the draft. This has happened twice now, I remade it, and am hoping Google and review the dang thing before it erases. I can't believe there's not a manual "save draft" button anywhere.
i think i added too many negative keywords (broad and phrase) and i no longer get more clicks lol... i don't like broad targeting keywords as it brings so many unrelated keywords to my landing page - so how do I properly negate keywords and still get nice bunch of traffic? google is not spending my budget. i use maximize clicks at $0.60 - world wide. I used to get tons of clicks for $0.05 and a few landing page CTR but I've noticed a lot of unrelated keywords and I started to add +500 negative search terms (exact) and since your video of using phrase or broad, I think I screwed up my negative and it's blocking lots of traffic I don't even know how to explain it lol how can I keep it clean and let good quality traffic come? should I delete all negative and start again? leave only "phrase" negative and delete exacts and broad negative keywords? :(
That is a good question and we've all been there as Google advertisers. I would check out my video on negative keywords for more specific info. It is always a balancing act though.

I don’t know why this became a thing but it doesn’t add audio interest to your videos. It’s just distracting and annoying.

Sounds like you may have an internet connection issue - Google Ads requires quite a lot of bandwidth.
