Yes, I think too that scents are very useful to feel more comfortable in the moment and with yourself. I learned that itchiness of the skin (I had it all over my body for many years) is a way the body tries to make you more aware of yourself. If you neglect your real needs and stuff your feelings instead of feeling and expressing them (f.e. I used to ignore my anger), you can develop many different health problems. For me was very helpful a technique called Autogenic Training (by J.H. Schultz) to feel myself more intensely and become aware of how I feel, and I learned a lot out of books/videos by Lisa A. Romano (here on RUclips).
