It is an odd solution though. It does drag out the shmaltz a fair bit even during “creepy” moments, which does drag it down. Still, while nothing that great, it has enough heart to be passable. Also, the woman complains about kids not reading due to their TV and games, which just proves that nothing changes. " Not exactly a favorite but I like it. Worth noting Season 3 had just one 22 minute per block instead of a full hour with different segments of different lengths, and it was done in Canada so thus you'll see a lot of Goosebumps people. Also, new narrator who isn't as good lol

Season 3 was definitely the hit and miss of the 80s TZ. While I think the majority of the previous seasons were pretty good and fine season 3 was kind of split in the middle with some good and some bad. Thankfully this one particular episode is part of the good side. I do like the main character enough and I do like the heartwarming twist throughout the story that did start off pretty haunting at times. It's an honestly good story that everyone can enjoy just fine.

What Twilight Zone tales do you hope to see next time?
From the 80's one, "To See the Invisible Man" is a big favorite I'd recommend, as well as some of the shorts they did.
If you want a great comedy episode review Dealers Choice from the 80s series. It's a good deal if you know what I mean. 😉
