Great flip through and beautiful work. I love this book but found the paper absolutely infuriating to work with. I started using gesso to prep the paper and it helped so much. Plan to try the "workable fixative" you mentioned also.
I apologize for my comment earlier. I work very hard for what I have so I became defensive. I’m not sure if your comment was looking for an actual answer but I will answer it. While I would not say I’m now rich, I have been poor in my life and luckily I’m no longer there. I spend very little on other things like entertainment, clothes, jewelry etc and put any spare money into art supplies. I also buy used and watch for sales. I bought my luminance pencils used for over half off because someone bought them and didn’t like them. It was missing a black pencil otherwise it was like new. Same with a lot of the coloring books I have. I have over ten sets of pencils. Many I bought so I could do things on the channel with them. Make comparisons, give advice, provide options for people to vote on with my color alongs etc.

Hope it helps Nola. It helped me. It probably doesn’t add as much tooth as gesso but it’s alot easier lol I’m all about easy
What do you spray with? What for? What spray?
Workable fixative. amzn.to/3WX4xY3. It adds tooth to the paper so it is easier to add colored pencil to it.

I have two pair of shoes, one ring, and multiple sets of colored pencils. It’s all about priorities. I’m art rich and money Poor.
