I see people bashing King 810 for trying new stuff, but this band is more than just the music, it's an ideal, and I will support this band no matter what direction they go.
Dude.. Most people haven't even heard King's first eps.. They REALLY love mixing it up.. And honestly, that's just beautiful.. if more bands and artists did this, it'd make them a lot more interesting..

Corey Spurgeon King 810 is constantly evolving, constantly trying new shit. That is art. most people just want the same old shit rehashed and dropped in front of them. that's why we need to support music in schools, so kids know the difference between art and trash.

Anybody who bashes this band doesn't understand the purpose of music. It's not about staying loyal to a genre, it's about loyalty to the message you present in your music. Genres are just different canvases. If your a shit artist or an amazing artist like King 810, it doesn't matter the canvas, it's authenticity and passion. That's what King is, Kings of music cuz the message is in the vibe, not just the words. Masters at work. Yall should be taken notes when David Gunn speaks.

Damn. What a song. For those of you not liking the direction, I have a feeling that this will be the 'eyes' of MM2. Hopefully the rest will be some heavy stuff, but I am absolutely fine with this. The reason is because I don't just like King for their sound, but I absolutely love the lyrics. I love the story Gunn's telling about Flint, and the picture he paints with each song. Once again, he amazed me with the words to this song, and I cannot wait for the next album!
This is probably the best fan service, real song between 2 very different generes of music.. But with both the same meaning.
What an achievement. People have to keep sharing them if they truely love what they hear from these guys. The first album was already a ticket but the few songs they have released just anticipates for another great, raw album.

Not to mention the first time I heard king I had a "holy fuck" moment when my friend played fat around the heart, I'm looking forward to songs with that type of... Emotional feel, like something that really digs down deep and makes you think, that's the shit I'm looking forward to. So keep up the good work king, michigan metal is the best metal.
Best band in 15 years
I heard of this band last year. I really like their music. The lyrics are really good and feel there's a story to be told or behind every song. One of my favorite bands for sure.

I'm just as much savage metal head who's got a few other genre appreciations as the next dude would be but with their new album la petite mort, I fucking loved that shit and I love Me and Maxine and the other sub genre variations like la petite mort, life's not enough and the rest of it but with David's vocals keeping everything in the flow it made this album stand out immensely.
I do prefer their debut album however I will always love and greatly respect the band and all their music influence and choices and besides they dont care whether people enjoy it or not or if some people bad mouth the music or think that its too strange for the collaboration then guys-STFU!
This simply put is a group that will survive and keep moving forward in the music industry and i look forward to all of their future achievements. I love every song they've released and respect it.

Coming from a poor background I am sure he wants too make money. I like it but every musician cares @ least a little what their fans think . Either way I like it Freddie Gibbs has been on alot of Roots albums, I believe.

I understand not making the same CD twice, but these guys still have a core sound. With kill em all and war outside. Vendettas is close to that sound. I just hope these guys don't experiment too much and lose the metal fans they have.

I love it. The lyrics are great like usual. The beats though give a different feel. Went well with the song but if it's a new style...idk. I like the heavier stuff. To be completely honest, they did this same thing almost with memoirs, like the song eyes or devil don't cry, so when the new album drops I'm almost certain they aren't going to totally make all their songs hip hopish and what not, I'm willing to bet they'll still have some of that malevolently dark and heavy shit they seem to be the shit at making on the new album. So I'm certain king won't let any of us down.
