I started writing the script for this video in January this year, and was done by March - but with life and so many games in the way, I got to actually recording and editing by end of August. And with a script this long it took multiple days of recording - hence some variances in the audio quality. I was expecting some of the topics to feel outdated, but turns out I had nothing to worry about - both the good times and the stupidity are still going strong. Also wanted to note - the clip I play from a random Indian gaming podcast is not meant to vilify anyone, but to underline the reality that a lot of gamers today do feel that something is off. A lot of these problems folks have with games feel imaginary or preferential, but the fact that they feel this way is very real. Of course I had fun with joking about it, but I don’t think less of anyone just because they don’t feel/think the same way I do. I have always tried to see the best in games, though I do have my biases and preferences - but given how divisive and reactionary the discourse around games is these days, I made an effort to be more balanced so that what I say can remain meaningful in the long run. About your Cyberpunk review, you can actually side with Songbird and then hand her over to Reed on the launchpad. This way, everyone survives and you get the cure. Now, if you had made the right choices during the "Chippin' In" quest in the main campaign, Johnny is actually okay with your decision and has a heartfelt convo with you in the AV (he even takes V's full name, got me emotional). P.S., Night City actually doesn't come under the NUSA. That's why the President meets you outside its borders in one of the PL endings. That's also why V has a dialogue in one of the endings, "NUS' choppers whirring across the free skies of Night City" or something. The NCX Spaceport is also a "neutral zone" separate from both NC and the NUS as per So-Mi in one of the endings.
@VideogameWonderland Yeah, CDPR really redeemed themselves. Most game developers don't support a AAA single-player game after a year or two, especially when the launch is even remotely as horrendous as Cyberpunk 2077's, but CDPR kept continuously improving their magnum opus by adding features that they promised in the promo material, and even brand new features that they didn't, amid all the hate. They finally made the game realise its true potential, delivering on the promises that they made four years ago. It was a proper 9/10 game for me, and it'd have been the GOTY had it released like this for sure.

During your Phantom Liberty section you mentioned how you like characters who has done bad things in life but should their lives be about those things only. I would recommend animated show Vinland Saga it goes deeply into that specially in season 2, its a great watch although a bit slow in start.
i have been recently playing resident evil games and i kinda get the handholding part in resident evil there are a lot of yellow paint which gives you hint about interactable objects so whenever i go to new area and i see yellow paint i would instantly know what i have to do which kinda breaks immersion. I think devs should give you an option to turn off that yellow paint hints and handholding
