It is a true love that John Farnham has for his wife Jill. They hated being away from each other when he was touring... so much so that John gave up most of it to stay close to home... close to his beloved Jill and his family. John is so talented, but he made the right choice... family instead of broader world-wide fame. When Tom Jones and Celine Dion first heard John, they were so blown away by his stunning vocal ability and the rapport John had with his audiences that they urged him to move to the U.S. so he could have a better impact on the world stage. They knew he had an amazing gift and they knew more people should have the opportunity to hear him. John appreciated their advice but he decided it wouldn't be best. He didn't want to return to touring long distances weeks on end and be away from Jill, and he didn't want to uproot his family to live in another country, no matter if it would boost his career tremendously. That's real love setting the right priorities. By the way, John contributed to the writing of "Burn For You," and it definitely reflected his feelings about his wife. Real love. True love. Very rare... something that doesn't often survive in relationships with those who face the temptations and stresses that the entertainment business presents.
Brilliant singer. Lovely guy. John is an absolute Legend. He wrote this song for his wife to tell her how much he was missing her while out touring and away from home a lot.😊
Love your reaction! John is my favorite singer of all time! As long as you keep reacting to him AND to Home Free, I'll be right here watching! You can throw in some others here & there! 😊
If your looking for his total vocal range. You have to react to him singing live ,its from a show called the last time, its from 2003. And the song is called when the war is over. You will not be disapointed. Just blown away by his unbelivable vocals.
Australian music icon John Farnham has reportedly undergone jaw reconstruction surgery after “part of (his) jaw had to be removed” during lengthy surgery to remove a cancerous growth.
Please react to John Farnham with Olivia Newton-John singing "Please don't ask me" ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=please+don%27t+ask+me+olivia+ I am sure you will enjoy two of my favourtite Australians.
I don't think that the h is silent. Australians just don't put emphasis on the second syllable of the word. It is an English surname and pronounced differently there.
